Don’t Take What’s Not Yours (Exodus 20:15)
Bible Story: The Sin of Achan (Joshua 7:1-26)

On July 5, 2025, we learned that stealing isn’t just about taking things it’s about disobedience, dishonesty, and turning away from God’s instructions. Achan hid what he took, but God saw it all. Because of one man’s sin, the entire nation of Israel suffered defeat.

God Sees What’s Hidden. Honesty Honors Him.

God calls us to live with integrity to choose what is right even when no one is looking. Whether at home, in school, or with friends, let’s remember to be honest and faithful in all we do. When we walk in obedience, we walk in God’s blessing.

’tSteal

Tell the Truth (Exodus 20:16)
Bible Story: Naboth’s Vineyard (1 Kings 21:1-10)

On July 12, 2025, we discovered how powerful and dangerous false words can be. In the story of Naboth’s Vineyard, King Ahab wanted something that wasn’t his and Queen Jezebel made it happen by using lies. She made others give false testimony so Naboth would be punished for something he didn’t do.

Words Matter. Truth Protects.

God calls us to speak the truth, stand for what’s right, and never use lies to harm others. Even when it’s hard, honesty brings peace, while deceit brings pain. When we tell the truth, we show the world what God’s love looks like.

Be True and Faithful (Exodus 20:14)
Bible Story: David and Bathsheba (2 Samuel 11:1-27)

On June 27, 2025, we learned that being faithful means keeping our promises and doing what’s right even when no one is watching. In the story of David and Bathsheba, King David made a wrong choice that led to many more mistakes. His actions showed us how serious it is when we turn away from God's ways.

Choices Matter. Faithfulness Begins in the Heart.

God calls us to be true and loyal not just in marriage, but in our friendships, thoughts, and everyday actions. When we choose honesty, purity, and respect, we show that our hearts belong to Him.

Life is Precious (Exodus 20:13)
Bible Story: Cain and Abel (Genesis 4:1-16)

On June 21, 2025, our kids explored the story of Cain and Abel and discovered just how deeply God values life. It's not just about avoiding harm it's about choosing love over hate.

From Hatred to Honor for Life.

God calls us to be peacemakers, to treat each person with value, and to guard our hearts from jealousy and bitterness. Every life matters to God so it should matter to us, too.

Honor Starts at Home (Exodus 20:12)
Bible Story: Jesus Obeys His Parents (Luke 2:41-52)

On June 14, 2025, we learned that honoring our parents is a way of showing our love and obedience to God. Even Jesus, the Son of God, humbled Himself and obeyed His earthly parents.

From Simple Actions to Spiritual Growth.

When we choose to listen, respect, and follow the guidance of our parents, we reflect God’s heart. When we obey, we grow in wisdom just like Jesus did!

A Day to Remember (Exodus 20:8)
Bible Story: Jesus Heals on the Sabbath (Luke 13:10–17)

On June 7, 2025, we learned that the Sabbath is more than just rest it’s a day for worship, mercy, and renewal. Jesus healed a woman who suffered for 18 years, showing that doing good on the Sabbath honors God.

From Rituals to Restoration.

The Sabbath isn’t about rules it’s about relationship. Jesus came to set us free, and the Sabbath is a reminder of that freedom. Let’s spend it with Him, doing what brings life and healing.

Respect God’s Name (Exodus 20:7)
Bible Story: Jesus Teaches Us to Pray (Matthew 6:9–13)

On May 31, 2025, our kids discovered why God’s name is not just a word it’s holy and powerful! Jesus taught us to say, “Hallowed be Your name,” showing us that how we speak about God truly matters.

From Casual Words to Holy Reverence!

God’s name is not for jokes, anger, or carelessness. It’s to be honored, praised, and spoken with love. We are raising a generation that respects the name above all names because God is worthy.

Worship the Right Way (Exodus 20:4)
Bible Story: The Golden Calf (Exodus 32:1–35)

On May 24, 2025, we learned how dangerous it is to worship the wrong way. The Israelites built a golden calf when they got impatient and forgot who God truly was. But our God is holy, jealous, and worthy of pure worship.

From Idols to Intimacy with God!

God doesn’t want lifeless images or half-hearted praise. He wants our full attention and devotion. Let’s teach the next generation to worship God not with things we make but with hearts that adore Him.

Putting God First (Exodus 20:3)
Bible Story: Elijah and the Prophets of Baal (1 Kings 18:16–39)

On May 17, 2025, we began our Ten Commandments journey by learning what it means to put God first! Just like Elijah on Mount Carmel, we saw that there is only one true God and He alone deserves our worship.

From False Gods to the One True God!

No other name, no other power, no other thing should take God's place in our hearts. He must be first in our choices, our praise, and our lives. The fire fell when Elijah prayed and today, God still responds when we put Him first!

The Tomb and the Triumph: Jesus’ Burial, Resurrection, and Ascension (John 19:38-42; Mark 16:1-20)

On May 3, 2025, we remembered the powerful journey from the quiet tomb to the risen King! Jesus was buried in a garden tomb, but the grave could not hold Him. On the third day, He rose in victory and later ascended to heaven, promising to return again!

From Death to Life, From Earth to Heaven!

Jesus conquered sin and death so we can live in hope and joy. His resurrection is our greatest reason to celebrate. May we live each day declaring, “He is risen indeed!”

The Cross of Calvary: The Crucifixion Luke 23:26-49

On April 12, 2025, we remembered the darkest moment that brought us light. Jesus was nailed to the cross at Calvary, enduring pain and shame to redeem us from sin. Yet even in suffering, He forgave, He cared, and He fulfilled the mission of love.

The Pain That Purchased Our Freedom!

This is not just a story, it’s our salvation. Let the image of Jesus on the cross remind us daily of how deeply we are loved. May we never take the cross for granted, but live in its power and purpose.

The Sufferings: Jesus' Trial John 18:28-40 / John 19:1-16

On April 5, 2025, we explored the injustice Jesus faced during His trial before Pilate. Though found without fault, He was still sentenced to die. The crowd chose Barabbas, a criminal, over Jesus, the sinless Lamb of God.

Innocent Yet Condemned!

This teaches us that standing for truth won’t always be easy. Jesus stood silent, strong, and surrendered not because He was weak, but because He loved us. May we stand boldly for what is right, even when the world stands against us.
