Victorious, is a word that we want to be like every day of our life.
Victory over sins, over problems, over fear, over pain, and anything that we want to win over or learn something about.
Why learn something about it?
Remember that being victorious does not imply that the favor, comfort, and trophy are always yours. Because sometimes, you become victorious as you can learn from that specific event in your life and you carry an application that you will apply throughout your journey. And yes, being victorious requires losses and surrendering strongholds, bad habits, and lifestyles, and that is overoming the world.
Aside from what has already been stated, this verse reminds us that in order to be victorious, we must live in FAITH.
1 John 5:4
For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the worldβour faith.
Our intimacy and daily walk with God are vital as this makes us closer to God. Being hungry and thirsting for His word and impressions will help us to be wise in our decisions. Most importantly, we must keep our eyes on Him by communicating with Him on a daily basis, trusting in His will and plans, and believing that His mighty acts will bring us victory.
Yes, it is not easy, but then the Lord reminds us, "I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world." John 16:33
