Our lives will always produce something that reveals what is truly happening within our hearts. Just as a tree is recognized by its fruit, people are often known by their character, actions, attitudes, and the way they treat others. What is rooted deeply within us will eventually become visible, especially when we face pressure, challenges, and difficult situations. This reminds us that true transformation does not begin with changing our appearance but with allowing God to change our hearts.

This is why our relationship with God is more important than simply maintaining an outward appearance, because genuine transformation begins in the heart. When we continually remain connected to Jesus, His presence changes the way we think, respond, forgive, love, and treat the people around us. God does not expect us to become mature overnight; He patiently develops us through seasons of growth, waiting, correction, pruning, and testing.

There may be moments when we feel like nothing is changing, but even when growth is invisible, God can still be strengthening our roots. Our fruit is not meant to make us look better than others, but to become a testimony of what God can do in a surrendered life.

Sometimes the greatest step of faith is simply getting up again, praying again, trusting again, and choosing to move forward even when we cannot see where the road will lead. So hold on to your faith, because what you cannot see does not mean God is not working; His silence is not His absence, your waiting is not wasted, and your unanswered prayer is not proof that He has forgotten you.

Faith teaches us that God is worthy of our trust not only because of what He can give us, but because of who He is. There may be mountains you cannot move, battles you cannot win by your own strength, and situations you cannot understand, but none of them are beyond God's ability.

Finding direction in life begins with learning to trust God completely. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us to trust in the Lord with all our heart, not lean on our own understanding, and acknowledge Him in all our ways, because He is the One who directs our paths.

God does not always show us the entire plan at once. Often, clarity comes only after we make a firm commitment to obey what He has already shown and spoken to us. This means that faith is not about having the complete map before we move, but about trusting the One who knows where the path leads.

Abraham is a powerful example of this because God called him to leave his home and go to an unknown place, and although he did not have the full map of his destination, he had a promise from God and chose to trust Him wholeheartedly.

Trusting God also means surrendering our desire to control every aspect of our lives because true trust is revealed when the path ahead is unclear and we still choose to follow Him.

When we lean less on ourselves and submit more fully to God, we can walk forward with confidence, knowing that the One who sees the whole path is the same God who promises to guide our steps.

πŒπ„π’π’π€π†π„ 𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐀𝐏: Beware: Did God Really Say? β€” satan attacks what is true [3:00 PM Youth Service]

Satan’s first attack in the Garden of Eden was not against Adam and Eve’s ability, but against their trust in what God had already said. When Satan asked, β€œDid God really say?”, he planted doubt in their hearts about the goodness, authority, and truthfulness of God. The enemy still uses the same strategy today by making us question God’s Word whenever it challenges our desires and understanding.

But God’s truth does not change according to our circumstances because His Word remains forever true. We must test every voice and every thought against Scripture instead of allowing our feelings to become the authority over our lives.

πŒπ„π’π’π€π†π„ 𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐀𝐏: Faith That Rests on God [7:30 AM Service]

2 Timothy 1:12 reminds us that our faith is anchored in the One whom we know and have entrusted ourselves to, and one of the greatest challenges of faith is learning to trust Someone we cannot see with our physical eyes. Yet faith does not require physical sight because faith learns to see through spiritual eyes, believing in the invisible God even when we cannot physically contain or fully comprehend His presence.

As Jesus said, β€œBlessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed,” reminding us that our inability to see God physically does not mean that He is absent or that He cannot be trusted. Faith rests on God’s ability because there are situations in life where human ability eventually reaches its limits. We may have education, money, experience, resources, and connections, yet there will still be problems that these things cannot solve and questions that human strength cannot answer. However, faith believes that God is able to do what we cannot do, because nothing is too hard for Him.

And trusting God does not mean that He will always give us everything we desire because His will is not always the same as our will. There will be moments when God answers our prayers in the way we hoped, and we can say that God is good, but mature faith also asks, β€œEven if He does not, can I still believe that God is good?” This is where faith in God’s character becomes essential.

Mature faith continues trusting God because it knows who He is. God is good, not only when life is good. God is faithful, not only when circumstances are favorable. We may not always understand His plan, but we do not need to understand everything when we know His character.

πŒπ„π’π’π€π†π„ 𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐀𝐏: How to Defeat Flesh [10:00 AM Service]

Galatians 5:16-17 reminds us that there is a constant conflict between the flesh and the Spirit, because what the flesh desires is contrary to what the Spirit desires. This is why one of the important things we must learn as believers is how to guard our hearts and become intentional about what we allow to influence our thoughts, desires, and actions.

Defeating the flesh is not about becoming strong enough to do everything by ourselves, but about consistently choosing to feed the Spirit, starve the flesh, deny ourselves, guard our minds and hearts, remain in God's Word, obey His instructions, repent honestly, and depend on the Holy Spirit.

Every day presents us with a choice of which nature we will allow to lead us, and as we continually surrender ourselves to the Spirit, His work becomes stronger in us and the desires of the flesh lose their control over our lives.

πŒπ„π’π’π€π†π„ 𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐀𝐏: Saved and Empowered by Grace [7:30 AM Service]

Ephesians 2:8-9 reminds us that salvation is a gift from God and not something we can earn through our works, education, experience, finances, relationships, discipline, reputation, or even our service in the church. We are saved because Jesus is good enough, not because we are good enough, and our salvation is not a reward for our performance but an expression of God’s grace toward us.

This does not mean that good works are unimportant, but rather, good works are the fruit of salvation and not the foundation of it, because we do not do good things in order to become saved, we do good things because we have already been saved.

Grace should never become an excuse to continue living in sin because grace does not mean that sin does not matter. Instead, grace means that Jesus paid the price for our sin, and because of what He has done, we are called to live differently.

We were never meant to live the Christian life purely through human strength, and whenever we recognize our weakness, we are invited to come boldly to the throne of grace, where we can receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

And we will finish this race not because we are strong enough on our own, but because His grace is always sufficient and His strength continues to work through us.

πŒπ„π’π’π€π†π„ 𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐀𝐏: After Salvation, What's Next? [3:00 PM Youth Service]

Salvation is one of the greatest gifts we can ever receive not because we earned it, but because it was freely given to us through the grace of God.
But after receiving the gift of salvation, the question is: What’s next?

When we truly encounter Jesus, our lives should not remain the same because the old has gone and the new has come. We begin to know Him more deeply by reading His Word, because just as our bodies need food, our souls need the truth of God to live and grow. As we read the Word, we also allow God to renew our minds, because following Christ means learning His ways and letting go of the things that no longer belong to our new life.

Sometimes, learning requires unlearning we must empty ourselves of wrong beliefs, unhealthy habits, worldly thinking, and old ways before we can be filled with the truth of God.

πŒπ„π’π’π€π†π„ 𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐀𝐏: Submit to God, Resist the Devil [10:00 AM Service]

Come near to God, and He will come near to you,” showing us that submission is not simply an idea but a conscious decision to obey God and arrange our lives according to His commands rather than our own desires.

The word β€œsubmit,” carries the idea of willingly placing ourselves under an authority greater than ourselves, and this kind of submission requires humility because we cannot truly surrender to God while insisting on having our own way.

When we continue to live according to the patterns of the world while claiming to follow Christ, we become divided in our hearts, choosing friendship with the world instead of complete submission to God. Submitting to God also means resisting the devil, and resisting does not simply mean verbally rebuking him, but actively refusing to give sin a foothold in our lives.

God has a purpose for our lives, but fulfilling that purpose requires us to surrender ourselves to His hands and allow Him to mold us into the vessel He chooses us to be. Therefore, let us submit to God, resist the devil, repent from sin, move closer to Him, and trust the process of His molding, knowing that His hands are good, His plans are greater than our own, and He is faithful to shape our lives according to His purpose.

Last September 5, we celebrated a woman whose life has been a blessing to generations.

Happy 70th Birthday to our beloved Mamala! πŸŽ‰

For 70 years, God has carried her through different seasons of life. She have been a loving mother, a caring grandmother, a faithful servant, and a woman whose love has helped shape her family in more ways than words can express.

May the Lord continue to bless you with strength, joy, good health, and many more beautiful years surrounded by the people you love.
