OFFICIAL STATEMENT — ON THE EARTHQUAKE INCIDENT HAPPENED LAST JUNE 08, 2026 AFFECTING CHURCHES BUILDINGS AND FACILITIES ACROSS SARANGANI PROVINCE, GENSAN, JOSE ABAD SANTOS, AND BALUT ISLAND

In the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, a blessed and hopeful day to all!
The Office of the Philippine General Council of the Evangelical Church of God Inc. (Pentecost) expresses its deepest concern and sympathy to our brothers and sisters in Christ and all communities across Mindanao affected by the earthquake incident on June 8, 2026.
In this regard, we humbly ask for your kind heart to extend your donations and sponsorships to help our brethren in their situation amidst these trying times.
Your donations will be intended for the reconstructions of church buildings and facilities being destroyed.

With this situation we are in right now, let us not lose hope and courage to continue trusting the Lord with all our hearts because we know that He will not forsake us.
Let us always remember, the church is defined not by its building, the church is the people. Even if a church building is destroyed, the true church remains alive in our hearts as believers, who can continue to stand strong and faithful in the Lord.
