Celebrating Marist Religious Life ๐
Today, August 15, 2026, on the joyful Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Marist Brothers East Asia Province gives thanks to God for the gift of vocation, fidelity, and generous service.
The celebration of the Holy Eucharist was presided over by Most Rev. Socrates C. Mesiona, MSP, D.D., Bishop of Perto Prncesa, Palawan, together with concelebrating priests. The Eucharistic celebration was graced by a good number of Marist Brothers, members of the Marist Family, religious men and women, families of the Brothers, friends, benefactors, and guests, who gathered in thanksgiving and joyful communion.
On this blessed occasion, we joyfully celebrated two significant milestones in Marist religious life:

Golden Jubilee of Religious Life
Celebrating 50 years of faithful Marist Religious Life and Mission. A beautiful testimony of steadfast commitment, generous service, and fidelity to Godโs call.
โจ Br. Jay Jay E. Escuadro, FMS
Perpetual Profession of Religious Vows
Joyfully making his definitive commitment to follow Christ as a Marist Brother through the evangelical vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience, dedicating his life to the Marist mission of making Jesus Christ known and loved.
As one Marist Family, we rejoice with Br. Franklin and Br. Jay Jay and accompany them with our gratitude and prayers. May Mary, our Good Mother, whose Assumption we celebrate today, continue to guide them and keep them faithful and joyful in their vocation and mission.
May their witness remind us that a life generously offered to God becomes a blessing to many.
