Discipleship is costly.
It isnโ€™t just about giving God an hour on Sunday or squeezing Him into our busy schedules. Itโ€™s about giving Him our whole life. Our plans, our dreams, our comfort, our yes. ๐Ÿค

Thatโ€™s why youth fellowship matters. We donโ€™t walk this surrendered life alone. We pray for each other when itโ€™s hard, we remind each other of the gospel when we forget, and we choose Jesus together.

๐€๐…๐“๐„๐‘๐‘๐’๐‡๐Ž๐‚๐Š๐’: Finding Solid Ground When the World Shakes ๐ŸŒŽ๐Ÿค

God asks us to evaluate the harm after each shaking season, not to condemn us, but to heal us.
This Sunday's message reminded us that the largest cracks are frequently not around us, but within us. We gradually lose the stable foundation that only God can offer when our priorities move away from Him.

Pursuing our goals, providing for our necessities, and acknowledging our achievements are all perfectly acceptable; the risk arises when we lose sight of the One who provided us with everything.

In seasons of shaking, God calls us to examine where we truly stand. It is not wrong to have personal needs and accomplishments, but the danger comes when we allow them to take the place of the Lord in our lives.

Often, we assume that our problems are external, yet the Word reveals to us that the hidden crack is within โ€” selfishness. True healing begins when we are honest enough to assess the damage, and true restoration begins with repentance. And repentance is more than tears; it is a turning away and a choosing to change.

Let us not fall into the trap of comparison, for just as the sun shines in the morning and the moon shines at night, God has appointed a time for each of us to shine. Above all, may our priority remain to serve the Lord, for in Him alone do we find steady ground that cannot be moved.

Dear friends and prayer partners,

Our Nopol Hills Alliance Church suffered significant damage due to the 7.8-magnitude earthquake that struck on June 8, 2026. Parts of our church building were heavily affected, causing major destruction to the facility where we gather for worship and fellowship. We are grateful to God that, despite the damage, His faithfulness continues to sustain us during this difficult time.

We humbly ask for your prayers for our church family, especially for the safety, strength, and encouragement of all our members. Please pray for God's protection, provision, and wisdom as we begin the process of recovery and rebuilding. Your prayers and support mean so much to us.
