It’s very unfortunate and I’m tired seeing many members are leaving or being inactive because of the presence of disillusionment, internal conflicts or lack of competence in pastoral leadership—“kapoy naman simba, wala na kaayoy tao” or “gubot na kaayo kirb, mas okay nga muiwas nalang”, even I also feel that there is indifference inside the church’s atmosphere and it’s exhausting, seeing empty seats; the once lively become spiritually declined and separated. Without immediate action the Church risks shrinking into a mere remnant instead of a vibrant community. The Church is dying and it’s up to us people to do something about it. When leadership quarrels overshadow ministry, the faithful becomes discouraged and drift away. To revive the Church, why not opt and prioritize the main vision and mission of the church, worships and doctrines, and community care over jurisdictional conflicts.
This is not to provoke the government side rather a reflection of a member, a youth, a child, a servant and a son of God affected by this matter, and may the future generations never be affected by this conflict.
To lower our pride is to open our hearts to reconciliation, cultivate humility and transcending the confines of the self.
