First Day of 2026

As we step into the first sunrise of 2026, let us pause not to rush ahead, but to reflect.

We are here not by accident, not by chance, but by the goodness of God.
Through days we understood and days we didn’t… through answered prayers and silent moments… God was faithful.

Some of us enter this year with gratitude.
Some enter with questions.
Some carry hopes, others carry wounds.

Yet this truth remains: God’s goodness carried us into today.

If you made it here, it means grace sustained you.
If you are breathing today, mercy has spoken again.
If you still have hope, even a small one—God is not finished with you.

Let this year begin not with fear, but with trust.
Not with pressure, but with purpose.
Not with regret, but with reflection.

May 2026 be a year where we:

Notice God’s hand in small moments

Choose faith over worry

Walk in kindness, patience, and humility

And remember that even in uncertainty, God is good

Today is a gift.
This year is an opportunity.
And God’s goodness goes before us.
