𝗠𝗜𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘 ┃PRESWOOD MISSIONS FOUNDATION, INC., WITH SOUTHERN MINDANAO HEALTH PROFESSIONALS, HOLDS MEDICAL MISSION IN KORONADAL CITY

Residents of Barangay Topland, Koronadal City, received free health services on August 5, 2026, through a medical mission organized by the Preswood Missions Foundation, Inc. in partnership with the Adventist Health Professionals of Southern Mindanao Mission (SMM) and members of the Metro Gensan West 1.

The one-day medical mission provided a range of services designed to address different health needs in the community. Services included surgical, medical, dental, and optical care, all offered free of charge.The initiative brought together health professionals and volunteers who served community members through consultations and various specialized services. The medical mission also provided an opportunity for residents to access basic health care and professional assistance without cost.

Ellen G. White emphasized this holistic understanding of health, writing: “The body must be kept in a healthy condition in order that the soul may be in health. The condition of the body affects the condition of the soul. He who would have physical and spiritual strength must educate his appetite in right lines. He must be careful not to burden the soul by overtaxing his physical or spiritual powers. Faithful adherence to right principles in eating, drinking, and dressing is a duty that God has laid upon human beings. The Lord desires us to obey the laws of health and life. He holds each one responsible to care properly for his body, that it may be kept in health.” — Ellen G. White, Lift Him Up, p. 260, “Health to Body and Soul” (September 3)

The medical mission demonstrated this principle and through practical service, bringing health education and professional care directly to the community. It also provided an avenue for volunteers and health professionals to demonstrate compassion through their skills and expertise.

𝗠𝗜𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘 ┃ADVENTIST YOUNG PROFESSIONALS OF SOUTHERN MINDANAO BRINGS FREE MEDICAL CARE, FEEDING PROGRAM, AND HEALTH LECTURE TO LAKE SEBU COMMUNITY

The Adventist Young Professionals of Southern Mindanao Mission, together with its officers, volunteers, and medical team, conducted a two-day community outreach in Elnaw, Lake Sebu, on July 17–18, 2026, bringing health services, food, and messages of hope to residents of the community.

The outreach provided several essential services, including free tuli (circumcision), medical check-ups, feeding activities, and a health lecture led by medical professionals. The initiative aimed to respond to the community’s practical needs while creating opportunities for meaningful connection and service.

Beyond the medical and feeding activities, the AYP team also spent the Sabbath with the local community and the district pastor. Participants gathered for worship, fellowship, and messages centered on healing, hope, and faith.

Through the dedication of the officers, volunteers, medical personnel, and everyone who contributed to the outreach, the team was able to extend care beyond the walls of the church and into the community. As the AYP continues its mission of service, the outreach in Elnaw serves as a reminder that ministry can take many forms, from providing medical care and nourishment to simply being present, listening, worshiping, and sharing hope.

Above all, the team gives glory to God, the source of every opportunity to serve and share His love.
