TITLE: WHY PLANNING IS IMPORTANT?
SCRIPTURE : Proverbs 21:5; Luke 14:28; Proverbs 16:9

1. PLANNING PREVENTS POVERTY THROUGH DILIGENCE
"The thoughts of the diligent tend only to plenteousness; but of every one that is hasty only to want" (Proverbs 21:5).
• Let's inquire God's people who were Successful in Planning through diligence.
• Ezra the Scribe - Spiritual Diligence
• Joseph (Ruler of Egypt) - Administrative Diligence
• The Bereans - Intellectual Diligence
II. Planning Protects Your Testimony and Completion
"For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?
• A planned life avoids the shame of abandoned goals and stands as a testimony of God's faithfulness to complete what He starts in us.
III. Planning Submits to God's Sovereignty
• A man's heart deviseth his way but the LORD directeth his steps" (Proverbs 16:50
• We plan with God, not instead of God. Our plans are the vessel God's direction is the wind.
CONCLUSION:
• Planning is important because it aligns us with God's nature of order
• Diligence in planning leads to abundance in spiritual life, fellowship testimony, fruits of the spirit, all aspect of life not want,
• Counting the cost ensures we finish what we start, honoring God's
name
• Submitting our plans acknowledges that while we are mapping God's will in our life, God drives the car
• Let us be a people who sit down to count the cast, rise up to obey with diligence, and walk forward trusting the Lord to direct our step.
