Part 2
12 Years of God's Faithfulness. ✨
❤️ Happy 12th Church Anniversary!

The church is more than a building—it’s who we are becoming. As we celebrate our 12th anniversary, we reflect on a decade-plus of being rooted in Christ, formed by His Word, and growing together as one body. 🪵🙌

For 12 years, we’ve prayed together, worshipped together, grown together, and witnessed God move in miraculous ways. We are grateful for every member, every family, and every life changed by His love. The best is still ahead!

Calling and Purpose — Understanding the Difference

Many believers use the words calling and purpose as if they mean the same thing. While they are closely related, the Bible shows that they are not exactly the same. Understanding the difference helps us live more clearly and confidently in God’s plan.

1️⃣ Purpose — The Reason You Exist

Purpose answers the question:
“Why was I created?”

Your purpose is the overall intention God has for your life. It is the big picture of why you are here on earth.

The Bible reminds us:

“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.”
— Ephesians 2:10

Every believer shares a common purpose:

• To know God
• To glorify Him
• To reflect Christ’s character
• To advance His Kingdom

In this sense, all Christians share the same ultimate purpose — to live for God and make Him known.

Purpose is the destination.

2️⃣ Calling — The Assignment God Gives You

Calling answers a different question:
“What specific role has God assigned to me?”

Calling is the particular way God uses your life to accomplish His purpose.

For example:

• Moses was called to lead Israel.
• David was called to be a king.
• Paul was called to preach to the Gentiles.
• Apollos was called to teach and defend the Scriptures.

The Apostle John wrote:

“You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit.”
— John 15:16

Calling is the specific task, role, or assignment God entrusts to someone.

Calling is the path.

3️⃣ One Purpose — Many Different Callings

While believers share the same purpose, their callings can be very different.

Some are called to preach.
Some are called to teach.
Some are called to lead businesses.
Some are called to raise families that honor God.
Some are called to serve quietly behind the scenes.

Paul explained this beautifully:

“There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord.”
— 1 Corinthians 12:5

Different callings — but one divine purpose.

4️⃣ Calling Can Change, But Purpose Remains

Throughout life, God may lead believers into different assignments, but the purpose remains the same.

David was first a shepherd.
Later he became a warrior.
Eventually he became a king.

The assignments changed, but his purpose—to serve God’s plan—remained constant.

Your calling may evolve, but your purpose never changes.

🌿 A Simple Way to Understand It

Purpose = Why you exist
Calling = What God asks you to do

Purpose is the mission.
Calling is the role you play in that mission.

🔥 A Word of Encouragement

Some people worry because they have not yet discovered their exact calling. But remember this:

When you pursue God’s presence, walk in obedience, and serve faithfully where you are, your calling will gradually unfold.

The most important thing is not chasing a title or position—
it is walking daily with the One who called you.

Because the God who created you also designed a path for your life.

And when you follow Him, your calling will lead you directly into your purpose.

STOP LOWERING GOD WITH A SMALL “g”
HINDI IYAN BASTA TYPO, KAPATID.

Some of you keep writing “god”when you’re talking about the One true God, and you think it’s “no big deal.”
Pero ang totoo? Malaking kawalan ng respeto ’yan.

You don’t call the King of Kings
the same way you call lifeless idols.
You don’t put the Creator
on the same level as created things.
You don’t reduce the Almighty
to a lowercase letter just because you’re careless.

When you write “god” for GOD, you are bringing Him down to the level of idols He Himself condemned.

The Bible never confused the two:
"For all the gods of the nations are idols,
but the LORD made the heavens.” — Psalm 96:5

Small “g” is for idols.
Small “g” is for false gods.
Small “g” is for powerless, empty, man-made beliefs.

But GOD, capital 'G' is the LORD who reigns forever.

So yes, it matters.
And yes, it reveals something about your heart.

Because if you cannot honor Him in the smallest detail,
how can you claim to honor Him n the bigger things?

Kung sa spelling pa lang, hindi mo Siya maitaas,
paano pa kaya sa buhay mo?

Kung sa letra pa lang, may pagmamaliit ka na,
paano pa sa obedience, sa worship, sa commitment?

Let this sink in:
Your reverence shows even in the way you write His Name.

Stop calling Him “god.”
He is GOD! Holy, sovereign, worthy, lifted high.

Itaas mo Siya.
Even in your words.
Even in the smallest letter.
Because He deserves nothing less.

The Most Important APPOINTMENT in Your Life

Hebrews 9:27 — “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.” (KJV)

DEATH is an APPOINTMENT that everyone keeps; no one cancels it, no one postpones it, no one escapes it.

It is fixed by God and written into the unchanging rhythm of human existence. You may forget a meeting, reschedule a responsibility, or delay a decision—but "This Appointment" you will not miss.

God declared it plainly:

** “Prepare to meet thy God.” (Amos 4:12)

This is not advice.
This is not a suggestion.
This is the most urgent summons ever addressed to the human soul.

Why?
Because it is the most important appointment of your life—the moment when you stand before your Creator and Judge.
On that day, your eternal destiny will be determined: heaven or hell, eternal life or eternal death.

And the greatest question in that courtroom is this:

Do you have an Advocate—your defense attorney—on your side?

The Scripture provides the only answer of hope:

“We have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.” (1 John 2:1)

If Christ is your Advocate, He pleads His blood, stands in your place, and covers you with His righteousness.

If Christ is not your Advocate, then you must stand alone—with your sins, with your record, with your excuses—before a holy God who “will by no means clear the guilty.”

Death you cannot escape.
Judgment you cannot avoid.
Christ you cannot live without.

So the call is urgent:

PREPARE TO MEET THY GOD.

Make sure you have your Advocate before you face the Judge.**

A FINAL PLEADING CALL from Scripture

1). "Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near.”--Isa. 55:6

2). "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the Gospel.”--Mark 1:15

3). "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved.”--Acts 16:31

Genesis 2:7 says, "Then the LORD God formed the human of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the human became a living creature." Every breath you take is a gift of life from the living God.✨
