𝙅𝙪𝙡𝙮 𝟏𝟗–𝟐𝟎, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 ✍ — Stepping into a new academic year with renewed passion and unified purpose, the newly elected officers of the Muslim Association of Medical Students (M**S) officially convened for their Strategic Planning and inaugural Adviser Meeting for A.Y. 2026–2027.

On 𝙅𝙪𝙡𝙮 𝟏𝟗, the executive officers gathered for their first official meeting and strategic planning session. Driven by a shared commitment to service and excellence, the leadership team mapped out visionary initiatives, set key priorities, and laid a solid foundation designed to elevate student welfare, foster community impact, and champion academic success.

Building on this momentum, the officers formally met with M**S Adviser, Dr. Usmaima Usman-Naga, on 𝙅𝙪𝙡𝙮 𝟐𝟎. During the presentation of the proposed roadmap and activities for the year, Dr. Naga provided invaluable mentorship, wisdom, and strategic guidance—helping refine the team’s direction and ensuring that every effort remains grounded in core values and impactful leadership.

As M**S embarks on another year of service, unity, and excellence, the stage is set for a transformative chapter ahead.

Together, we lead. Together, we serve. 💚🩺✨

The Muslim Association of Medical Students (M**S) proudly marks the beginning of a new chapter in its journey of service and leadership as Mr. Ayobkhan Lomundaya Jr. officially assumes the role of Ameer for SY 2026–2027, succeeding Ameer Ali-Akbar Dadayan.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Ameer Ali-Akbar for his service and commitment to the organization during his term. May Allah (SWT) reward his efforts and accept all the good he has done in the service of M**S.

We also warmly congratulate Ameer Ayobkhan Lomundaya Jr. and the incoming officers as they embrace this noble responsibility. We pray that Allah (SWT) grants them wisdom, sincerity (ikhlāṣ), patience, and strength to lead the organization with justice, compassion, and excellence.

May this new chapter bring greater opportunities for growth, stronger brotherhood and sisterhood, and a renewed commitment to serving Allah, our community, and our fellow medical students.

"And say, 'Do [as you will], for Allah will see your deeds, and [so will] His Messenger and the believers.'"�— Surah At-Tawbah (9:105)

Every Journey Begins with a Single Leap of Faith.

For many of you, becoming a medical student meant leaving behind the familiar—your families, your hometowns, and the comfort of certainty—to pursue a dream in a place that was once unknown. It was a journey built on courage, sustained by sacrifice, and carried by faith.

There were days when the road felt too long, the lessons too heavy, and home felt too far away. Yet every step forward was seen by Allah, for He promised:

وَمَن جَاهَدَ فَإِنَّمَا يُجَاهِدُ لِنَفْسِهِ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَغَنِيٌّ عَنِ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ
‏Wa man jāhada fa innamā yujāhidu linafsih. Inna Allāha laghaniyyun ’ani al-’ālamīn.
‏“Whoever strives, strives only for his own benefit. Indeed, Allah is Free of need from all creation.”
‏— Surah Al-’Ankabūt (29:6)

Tomorrow, as the Muslim Association of Medical Students (M**S) – Batch Parahiyasan celebrates its Pre-Commencement Exercises, remember that this moment is not simply a recognition of academic success. It is a celebration of every prayer answered, every sacrifice honored, and every step Allah had written long before you could see the destination.

May He continue to bless your knowledge, strengthen your faith, and make your profession a means of healing, mercy, and service for His sake.

The city that was once unfamiliar has become part of your story, and the dream that once seemed so distant is now only one step away.

𝑬𝑰𝑫 𝑨𝑵𝑵𝑶𝑼𝑵𝑪𝑬𝑴𝑬𝑵𝑻 | The Bangsamoro Darul-Ifta has confirmed that the Shawwal moon was not sighted. With this, 30 days of Ramadan have concluded, and Eid Al-Fitr will be observed on Saturday, March 21, 2026, InshaAllah.

As the Ramadhan ends, we reflect on the enduring virtues cultivated during this blessed month: patience, humility, and steadfast devotion. Ramadhan reminds us to uphold discipline in worship, compassion in service, and mindfulness in all endeavors.

Allah (SWT) states: “…complete the prescribed period and glorify Allah for guiding you, and perhaps you will be grateful.” (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:185)

May Allah accept all our acts of worship, pardon our shortcomings, and allow the illumination of Ramadan to continue guiding our hearts.

Eid Mubarak in advance to our students, colleagues, and the entire Ummah. 🤍

𝐃𝐀𝐖𝐀𝐇 𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐀𝐋𝐋 | 𝙁𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙍𝙚𝙛𝙡𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙖 𝙈𝙚𝙙 𝙎𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙍𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙙𝙖𝙣

“Verily, your Lord has a right over you, your body has a right over you, and your family has a right over you, so give each their due right.” (Sahih al-Bukhari)

This Ramadan serves as a reminder that Islam is a religion of balance—not neglecting the dunya, and not forgetting the akhirah.

Allah has a right over His servants— to be worshipped with sincerity, remembered constantly, until even the simplest actions become ‘ibadah.

The body has a right— to be cared for, to rest, to be sustained,
for it is an amanah that carries a person through both dunya and deen.

The family has a right—not only in presence, but in guidance,
to walk together toward Allah and hope for reunion in Jannah.

And others have a right— especially within the paths that Allah has written for each individual.

As mentioned in the Qur'an: “Whoever saves one life, it is as if he has saved all mankind.” (5:32)

𝗜𝗻 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱—𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝘀𝘂𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗲—𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲, 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘂𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗳𝘁.

This Ramadan called for a reflection:
Were all rights fulfilled?

Because a life rooted in Islam is not defined by extremes,
but by giving each their due— with sincerity, justice, and intention for the sake of Allah.

JUST IN | The Bangsamoro Darul-Ifta’ – BARMM formally pronounces that the 𝗠𝗢𝗢𝗡 𝗛𝗔𝗦 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗕𝗘𝗘𝗡 𝗦𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧𝗘𝗗 tonight.

Therefore the Eid’l Fit’r will be celebrated on 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟮𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 (𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆). This result has been properly conducted by the official moon sighting team, who had been gathered to agreed-upon strategic locations and has been proactively led by the Bangsamoro M***i, Sheikh Abdulrauf A. Guialani.
