Catholics across the Philippines are encouraged to wear white clothing or a white ribbon during Masses this Sunday, June 28, in response to the pastoral appeal of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines (CBCP).
The CBCP said the gesture is a faith-based and non-partisan expression of prayer, hope, peace, and unity for the nation. Whether by wearing white attire or simply pinning a white ribbon, the faithful are invited to take part in this visible act of solidarity and prayer.
The bishops also called on Catholics to pray for the country's leaders, communities, and every Filipino, asking God to bless the nation with wisdom, integrity, peace, and a renewed commitment to the common good.
