Daily Online Bible Reading - Exodus 32-34

Mao ni ang mga reflections sa participants gahapon sa gibasa nga Kasulatan:

* Matud sa Exodus 34:7, ang sala sa mga amahan maka-apekto sa mga anak up to the 4th generation. Apan nasayran nato nga gi-ilisdan kini sa Ginoo sa Ezekiel 18 - diin ang kalag nga nakasala maoy mamatay.

* Si Moises naka survive mag-puasa sa 40 days sa kamingawan. Unta magpuasa pud ta para sa Ginoo.

* Si Moises gikahimot-an sa Ginoo. Gibuhat sa Ginoo ang gi-pangayo ni Moises (33:17).

Makakuha ta ug pagtulon-an sa iyang kinabuhi ug unsaon nga ang Dios mahimoot sa atong mga tagsa-tagsa ka kinabuhi: kini ang pagbaton ug dakong pagtoo sa Dios, pagka-mapaubsanon, pagka-concern nya sa iyang mga igsoon nga Israelita ug sa himaya sa Ginoo, pagka-eager nya mangita sa Ginoo.

Continuing Bible Reading - Daily Online Bible Reading - Exodus 9-11

Mga Pamalandong

Dali ra kaayo kuhaon sa Dios ang mga katalagman kung mag-ampo, mangayo ug pasaylo Kaniya.

Makalilisang ang mga silot sa Ginoo; makahahadlok ang Ginoo. nadunggan sa Ginoo ug mga agulo sa iyang katawhan, maong gigamit si Moises mag lead para makalingkawas ang mga katawhan sa Dios.

Gipagahi sa Ginoo ang kasing-kasing ni Paraon. Naa gyapon ang mga "paraon" karon - mga kasing-kasing nga gipagahi sa Ginoo - mga mantas nga tikasan, mapahimuslanon. Apan si Moises, pailob lang gyapon sa pagsangyaw ug pagtuman sa kabubot-on sa Dios.

Makita ang 2 ka dagway sa kinabuhi sa tao - ang matarong ug dautan ug kasing-kasing. Gipalabi sa Dios ang Iyang mga katawhan nga gidaugdaug - ang Goshen dii affected sa mga katalagman. Atong makita unsa ka gamhanan ang Dios.

It is a terrible thing to fall into the hands of the Most High. Kung magpaubos ta, makadawat ta ug grasya; kung magmapahinatas-on ta, kalabanon ta sa Ginoo. Mao ang nahitabo kan Paraon sa dihang wala niya tahura ang GInoo, wala kahadloki, ang gipataas nya ang iyang kaugalingon batok sa Ginoo

Continuing Bible Reading - Daily Online Bible Reading

Exodus 5-8. Here are the reflections/takeaways from the participants:

When we obey God, the outcomes, especially the initial ones, may not be pleasant and may seem to contradict God's promises. But we should not judge the success of our obedience by the initial results; rather, our success is in the obedience. The outcome belongs to God.

As we can see from Pharaoh, power often leads to pride. When people rise in status, their regard for those "below" them, and even for God, often diminishes. We see this today when our government officials lose sight of their duty to the people and to the Lord.

Despite repeated demands and despite the plagues, Pharaoh is so hard-headed. Repeated rebellion, ignoring God, will lead to a hardened heart. This still happens today - when people repeatedly ignore God's rebuke, they will lose their ability to hear God and suffer the consequences later.

Like Moses, we should still press on with our calling and our mission to call people to repentance and reconciliation with God.

Sama nga ang sanga dili makapamunga sa iya rang kaugalingon gawas kon magpabilin kini sa punoan; mao usab kamo, dili makapamunga gawas kon magpabilin kamo kanako. 5Ako mao ang punoan sa paras, kamo mao ang mga sanga. Ang magpabilin kanako ug ako diha kaniya, siya mamunga ug daghan, kay kon kamo bulag kanako wala gayod kamoy mahimo. 6Kon adunay dili magpabilin kanako, isalibay siya sama sa sanga ug malaya, ug pundokon kini ug iitsa ngadto sa kalayo ug mangasunog. 7Kon kamo magpabilin kanako ug ang akong mga pulong magpabilin kaninyo, pangayo kamo ug bisan unsa nga buot ninyo, ug himoon kini alang kaninyo.

Today, we joyfully celebrate the life of our beloved shepherd, Pastor Jaime. We thank God for blessing our church family with your faithful leadership, tireless service, and compassionate heart. Your unwavering commitment to God’s Word and to guiding us in our spiritual journey is truly an inspiration.

On your special day, we pray that the Lord continues to pour out His abundant blessings upon you, granting you strength, wisdom, and overflowing joy as you continue to serve Him and His people.

May your life be filled with God’s grace, peace, and love, and may He grant you many more fruitful years of ministry.

What a beautiful way to end weekdays. Last Friday, the beautiful family of Mr. & Mrs. Harold and Haidee Samontina hosted the weekend worship in their humble abode at Malalag Cogon, Malungon, Sarangani.

We are grateful for everyone’s presence, time and effort most specially to the host family for preparing a comfortable space and filling foods. Indeed, God’s love and abundance is always present when we focus on Him.

We’re grateful for a meaningful time of fellowship today at UCCP Biangan. With joy, the church welcomed the United Church Men (UCM) Evangelistic Choir from UCCP Davao City Church along with some of their members. Also Rev. Jay C. Yebes was with us to share God’s Word as our guest preacher.

We are grateful for their visit and for sharing this time of worship and connection with us. Moments like these remind us that we are stronger together, one faith and one purpose, and together we are thankful to the Lord for the lives of the members, the church committee and Pastor Jaime, who continuesly shared their own gifts thru efforts, time, strength, financial support and dedication to make things like today possible.

The church is pleased to announce the successful completion of the new outdoor canopy. This addition is a beautiful expression of God’s abundance and grace, designed not only to enhance the church’s appearance but also to warmly welcome more visitors and future members.

With what the bible verse said in Psalm 133:1 “How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!”
