And this is our question: YOUNG PEOPLE, ARE YOU READY TO LEAVE BEHIND EVERY LIMITING LABEL AND STEP INTO THE FULLNESS OF WHO WE ARE AS CHILDREN OF GOD?!✝️💪

The Sinawal's Blessed Faith Gospel Church issues this urgent advisory to all members of our community, particularly those residing in Purok Malipayon and Purok Bagong Silang, students and faculty of Sinawal Elementary School, regular churchgoers, and all motorists utilizing the new road connecting these two puroks.

We have observed significant soil instability adjacent to the church premises, specifically concerning the ground supporting our church fence. This fence, a robust structure composed of cemented concrete walls reinforced with metal railings, currently stands on soil that has shown signs of erosion. Due to recent inclement weather conditions, the soil has receded to less than ten (10) inches from the base of the fence, critically compromising its foundation.

This warning is issued with utmost urgency, especially in light of the recent partial collapse of a wall portion at Sinawal Elementary School (fronting the Church), which occurred at approximately 10:00 PM on Monday, March 9, 2026, according to a witness. This incident serves as a stark reminder of the potential dangers posed by soil erosion. The safety of our community is paramount, and we are taking proactive measures to address this concern.

We also take this opportunity to kindly remind DPWH Contractors involved in the new road construction from Purok Malipayon to Purok Bagong Silang to take heed of this critical concern. As per discussions held at the Barangay Hall, the impact of the road construction on the surrounding soil stability, particularly near existing structures, is a vital consideration. We urge you to assess the situation promptly and coordinate with the church administration to mitigate any potential risks.

We strongly advise everyone to exercise extreme caution when in the vicinity of the church fence, particularly along the new road from Purok Malipayon to Purok Bagong Silang. Please maintain a safe distance from the fence and be vigilant, especially during or after heavy rainfall.

The church administration is actively working on a solution to stabilize the area and ensure the long-term safety of our fence and the surrounding public spaces. We will provide updates on our progress and any necessary temporary measures.
