You serve in your ministry more than carrying candles, holding the cross or assisting at Holy Mass; you serve Christ and His Church by drawing others closer to Him by your example.

Continue this beautiful journey of faith and never forget to enjoy every moment you spend serving at the altar. The Altar Servers of Sts. Peter and Paul Parish joyfully participated in the Solemn Procession of the replica image of Our Lady of Guadalupe and San Juan Diego, followed by the welcome and Holy Mass at Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage Parish. It was a beautiful opportunity to gather in prayer, service, and devotion, seeking the maternal guidance of Our Lady of Guadalupe and drawing ever closer to her Son, Jesus Christ.

Our Lady of Guadalupe is a title given to the Blessed Virgin Mary, who is believed to have appeared to St. Juan Diego in Mexico in 1531. She asked him to tell the bishop to build a church at Tepeyac Hill, and her image miraculously appeared on Juan Diego's tilma (cloak) as a sign of her message. She is honored as a symbol of faith, hope, compassion, and love, especially among Catholics in Mexico and throughout the world.
