We urgently need your help in spreading the word about a deeply concerning piece of legislation that is on the verge of becoming law in our Senate.

Senate Bill No. 1979, known as the Prevention of Adolescent Pregnancy Act of 2023, is currently on its third reading. While the title may sound well-intentioned, the contents of this bill pose a grave threat to our moral, societal, and spiritual values.

The authors of the bill label it as an “Anti-Teen Pregnancy Bill,” but hidden within is a curriculum called Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE). According to the UNESCO technical working guide it is based on, this curriculum includes:

• Teaching children as young as 4 years old about childhood ma********on.
• Introducing 6-year-olds to the concept of bodily pleasures through the five senses.
• Asserting that by age 9, children have their own sexual rights.

These teachings risk undermining the innocence of our children and the values we hold dear as a community.

This is not a battle we can fight alone. We need your voice, your influence, and your willingness to stand with us to raise awareness about the implications of this bill.

Along with faith based communities and parents help us share this message and help spread the word.

What a blessed evening of unity and faith! 🙏

Tonight, different campus ministries gathered to lift up the name of Jesus in prayer and worship. Indeed, prayer is the open admission that without Christ we can do nothing; and prayer is the turning away from ourselves to God in the confidence that He will provide the help we need.

Thank you to everyone who joined our prayer fellowship and made this gathering so special. Let’s keep our hearts and minds focused on Jesus as we continue this journey of faith. ✨️😇

One of the privileges we have as believers of the Lord is talking to Him and allowing Him to talk to us. Prayer is an acknowledgment that we are limited and our God is limitless.

1 Timothy 2:1-6 NIV
I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all people. This has now been witnessed to at the proper time.

With the coming of truth comes freedom.

As the Student Christian Council held its joint fellowship last April 16, 2024 at MSU Gymnasium with the theme: The Truth: The pursuit of Holiness, minds were opened, souls awakened, fire ignited and the light of truth broke through the shadows of lies.

With Pastor Mark Anthony Yap as guest speaker for the event, everyone received a timely message to remind the Bride of Christ - the believers - her cost and calling to set apart for holiness through the righteousness paid by the blood of Christ.

Different campus ministries engaged in making the joint fellowship successful as each take their part in the preparation of the event. God’s power and presence moved through every part of the program – in presentations, in worship songs, in the message and in the fellowship of the brethren in Christ.

Indeed, unity in the body of Christ quakes the kingdom of darkness. As the different campus ministries under Student Christian Council joined towards one purpose, the body of Christ not only brought God the glory but lived according to God’s design as well. As the Lord Jesus Christ prayed “I pray that they will all be one, just as you and I are one—as you are in me, Father, and I am in you. And may they be in us so that the world will believe you sent me.” John 17:21 NLT
