“Setting our hearts on things above” reminds us that true success is not found in worldly gain but in a life anchored in God. We may achieve many things on earth, but without Him, it leads to emptiness. When our hearts are aligned with God, our desires, decisions, and direction begin to reflect what truly matters—things that are eternal, not temporary.

We are also called to set our minds on things above. What we focus on shapes how we live, and distractions can easily pull us away from what matters most. Like Mary and Martha, we must choose to prioritize God’s presence, His Word, and prayer. When we align our hearts and minds with Him, we find peace, purpose, and the assurance of His faithfulness.

God pours out His blessings in places where hearts are aligned with Him. Scripture reminds us that one of those places is where there is unity. When people come together with sincere hearts, unity brings power, beauty, and abundance. Just as seen in the book of Acts, when believers were united, the Holy Spirit moved, lives were transformed, and needs were met. Unity became the platform where God’s blessings freely flowed.

God also blesses where there is obedience. Obedience is not about perfection but about surrender and submission to God’s will. When we choose to obey Him wholeheartedly—without delay or compromise—we create an environment where His blessings can operate in our lives. Like Abraham, who trusted and obeyed God even in difficult moments, we too can experience God’s faithfulness when we walk in obedience.

Brokenness is not weakness—it is total surrender. In Mark 14:3–9, we are reminded that when something is broken before the Lord, it becomes useful, fragrant, and filled with purpose. God allows brokenness not to destroy us, but to realign our hearts with His will so that Christ may shine through us. When we stop hiding and begin surrendering, mercy meets us, and grace begins its work.

Though brokenness often leads us through suffering, it also draws us closer to God. What once wounded us can become the very testimony that transforms our story. In our weakest moments, God reveals His sufficiency—His power made perfect in our weakness. When everything else fades, we discover that God alone is our strength and portion forever.

The sermon "Man’s Ultimate Desire" reminds us that the deepest longing of the human heart is not found in things, success, or comfort—but in the presence of God. Like King David, who desired one thing above all else, we are called to dwell with the Lord and build an altar in every family. Worship is more than a song; it is how we choose to live, stay, and behold the beauty of God each day. When God truly satisfies us, our lives naturally become an offering that pleases Him.

To dwell with God is also to inquire of Him—to live with intentional spiritual discipline and sensitivity to the Holy Spirit. Setting aside time and space for prayer, reflection, and obedience allows God to shape our hearts and guide our steps. As we walk in the Spirit, our families are strengthened, our faith is deepened, and our lives align more fully with God’s will.

Spiritual fatigue can come at any time. There are moments when our strength runs low, our hearts feel weary, and we realize that human strength is limited. On our own, we can only do so much—and without God, our strength means nothing. This is why we are invited to come to Him, to be honest about our weariness, and to allow Him to renew us from within.

Learning to trust God means resting in His sufficiency, finding security in His constant care, and submitting to His supreme authority. He is more than enough, always present, and unmatched in power. The stories of David, Saul, and the Amalekites remind us that unresolved battles can return to weaken us—what we fail to deal with can eventually deal with us. True strength comes when we fully trust God and allow Him to lead us through every struggle.

What often holds us back from a transformed heart are the things we refuse to let go—our past, our pride, and our sin. These barriers can quietly shape our decisions and distance us from the life God desires for us. Yet God calls us not to remain stuck, but to allow Him to do a deep and genuine work within us.

A changed heart begins with surrender—choosing daily to follow Jesus, live a holy life, and align our will with God’s will. Holiness starts the moment we receive Christ and continues as we acknowledge the work of the Holy Spirit in us, guiding, convicting, and transforming us from the inside out.

When we start right, we finish right. A strong beginning builds a strong ending, and what is built on the right foundation will stand until the end. God, in His grace, allows resets—opportunities to set new goals, leave what’s behind, and step into the new things He is doing, aligning our lives with His purpose.
Starting right means beginning with a right heart, right understanding, and right spirit. True transformation begins within, shaping our motives, purpose, and peace. As our minds are renewed by God’s Word and our spirits restored through prayer and devotion, we grow in wisdom, trust, and a deeper hunger for His presence—allowing God to guide us every step of the way.

This is a powerful invitation to real repentance—setting aside distractions, humbling ourselves before God, and seeking Him wholeheartedly through prayer and fasting as one body.

The story of Naaman in 2 Kings 5 reminds us how God can use even the most overlooked person to bring healing and hope. A young servant girl, though unnamed and seemingly insignificant, boldly shared her faith and pointed Naaman to the God who heals. Through her simple obedience and quiet witness, a miracle was set in motion—showing us that God’s power often flows through humble hearts willing to speak up.

This message challenges us to examine our own hearts and words before the Lord. As Psalm 19:14 declares, may our words and the meditation of our hearts be pleasing to God. When we live with humility, faith, and obedience, we become instruments of grace—reminding us that you may be a miracle to someone else when you choose to honor God in the small things.

𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐇𝐚𝐬 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠

The sermon “God Has Prepared Something" reminded us how God tests and grows our faith through obedience and surrender. Like Abraham offering Isaac, we are called to trust God fully, lay down what is most precious to us, and believe that He always has a greater purpose. True faith is not just spoken—it is shown through actions that reflect complete trust and willingness to follow God’s will.

We were also encouraged by stories that show how God cares even about the smallest details of our lives. From restoration to provision, God proves Himself faithful to His servants, reminding us that nothing is too small or too broken for Him to restore. When we rely on Him, we discover that He has already prepared what we need at the right time.
