Dear Co-Workers in Christ,

Grace and peace in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ!

On September 23, 2026, we will celebrate the 77th Philippine Free Methodist Church Founding Anniversary with the theme “BY GRACE ALONE” (1 Corinthians 15:10). For 77 years, God has faithfully sustained our Church through many seasons, challenges, victories, and changes. With grateful hearts, we can say with Paul, “By the grace of God we are what we are.” We are here today by God’s grace alone.

All Conferences, Districts, and Local Churches are encouraged to hold meaningful celebrations in their own areas. Let us give thanks for our heritage, celebrate what God is doing today, and renew our commitment to the mission He has given us.

For the nationwide celebration, the PGC-FMC will provide the official 77th Founding Anniversary tarpaulin layout. Please have it printed and displayed prominently outside your churches beginning the first week of September and throughout the anniversary celebration.

Nationwide Synchronized Baptism will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2026. Pastors and local churches are encouraged to identify and prepare baptism candidates through proper instruction and pastoral guidance. Let us celebrate lives changed by God’s saving and transforming grace as believers publicly declare their faith in Jesus Christ.

This baptism is more than a scheduled activity. It is part of our 77th Anniversary celebration and a testimony that God’s grace is still at work, the Gospel is still changing lives, disciples are still being made, and the mission continues.

Although we celebrate in different Conferences, Districts, and Local Churches, we celebrate as one Free Methodist family, with one mission and one testimony:
For 77 years, God has been faithful.
By grace we were called.
By grace we have been sustained.
By grace we continue the mission.
BY GRACE ALONE.

Let us make this 77th Founding Anniversary a joyful celebration of God’s faithfulness and a renewed commitment to love God, love people, and make disciples.

Evangelism is more than simply sharing words—it is faithfully carrying the Good News of Jesus Christ to a world that needs hope, truth, and salvation.

𝙄. 𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝙈𝘼𝙉𝘿𝘼𝙏𝙀; 𝙒𝙝𝙮 𝙈𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙒𝙚 𝙀𝙫𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙯𝙚?
We evangelize because of The Great Commission, The Compassion, and The Power—Christ has called us to go, love, and proclaim the Gospel.

𝙄𝙄. 𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝙈𝙀𝙎𝙎𝘼𝙂𝙀; 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙂𝙊𝙎𝙋𝙀𝙇?
𝗚od created us to be with Him.
𝗢ur sins separate us from God.
𝗦ins cannot be removed by good deeds.
𝗣aying the price for sin, Jesus died and rose again.
𝗘veryone who trusts in Him alone has eternal life.
𝗟ife with Jesus starts now and lasts forever.

𝙄𝙄𝙄. 𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝙈𝙀𝙏𝙃𝙊𝘿; 𝙃𝙤𝙬 𝘿𝙤 𝙒𝙚 𝙀𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙜𝙚?
Evangelism begins by learning to Recognize Opportunities, Listen and Empathize, and Share Your Story. Sometimes, sharing the Gospel begins with simply being present, listening, and showing Christ’s love.

𝙄𝙑. 𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝘾𝘼𝙇𝙇; 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙙
•For every believer: step out in boldness and share the Good News this week.
•For those who have not yet trusted Christ: respond to His invitation with repentance and faith.

At its heart, evangelism reminds us of four realities:
1. The reality of sin.
2. The consequences of sin.
3. The solution found in Jesus Christ.
4. The call to respond through repentance and faith.

May we never keep the Good News to ourselves. We are called to go, to tell, and to point others to Jesus.❤️‍🔥

𝙎𝙐𝙉𝘿𝘼𝙔 𝙎𝙀𝙍𝙑𝙄𝘾𝙀| 𝟯 𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗜𝗧𝗦 𝗢𝗙 𝗖𝗛𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗔𝗡 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗘𝗥✨

𝘼𝙣 𝙤𝙗𝙟𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙩 𝙟𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙚𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝟯 𝙅𝙤𝙝𝙣 𝟭:𝟭–𝟭𝟮

Three people. Three different lives. Three different legacies.

𝟭. 𝗚𝗔𝗜𝗨𝗦: 𝗔 𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗢𝗡 𝗪𝗛𝗢 𝗪𝗔𝗟𝗞𝗦 𝗜𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗧𝗥𝗨𝗧𝗛
He walked faithfully in the truth, expressed love through faithful hospitality, and became a fellow worker for the Gospel.

𝟮. 𝗗𝗜𝗢𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗣𝗛𝗘𝗦: 𝗔 𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗢𝗡 𝗪𝗛𝗢 𝗟𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗦 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗘𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘
He desired position more than submission, rejected godly authority, and became a hindrance to the work of the Gospel.

𝟯. 𝗗𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗨𝗦: 𝗔 𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗢𝗡 𝗪𝗜𝗧𝗛 𝗔 𝗚𝗢𝗢𝗗 𝗧𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗬
He followed what was good, was well spoken of by others, and lived a life confirmed by the truth.

John gives us three portraits—but also a question to examine our own hearts:
𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙢𝙮 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚 𝙥𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜?

May we be like Gaius, walking faithfully in the truth; may we learn from the warning of Diotrephes, turning away from pride and the desire for prominence; and may we follow the example of Demetrius, living a life marked by goodness and a godly testimony.

Because in the end, our character becomes our testimony, and our testimony becomes our legacy.

The purpose of a plumb line:
1. To establish a true vertical line
2. To test whether a wall is straight
3. To reveal defects
4. To guide proper construction

• Faithful Obedience Requires Daily Alignment with God's Word
• Faithful Obedience Depends on God's Power

The standard Plumb line reminds us that God has one perfect standard.
• His Word is the standard
• His Word exposes what is crooked
• His Word calls us to faithful obedience
The world encourages us to define truth, but God calls us to realign our lives with His eternal standard.

As we continue our Holiness Series, we were reminded that God's call is not merely to believe in Him but to live lives that reflect His character.

📖 What does God expect from us?

𝙄. 𝙄𝙈𝙄𝙏𝘼𝙏𝙀
Follow the example of Jesus Christ by reflecting His love, forgiveness, humility, and compassion in our daily lives.

𝙄𝙄. 𝘾𝙊𝙈𝙈𝙄𝙏
Surrender every area of our lives to God—our time, talents, energy, resources, and future—trusting Him completely.

𝙄𝙄𝙄. 𝙍𝙀𝙑𝙀𝙍𝙀𝙉𝘾𝙀 𝘼𝙉𝘿 𝙁𝙀𝘼𝙍
Walk with a heart of reverence, honoring God with deep respect, obedience, and awe.

𝙄𝙑. 𝙎𝙄𝙉𝘾𝙀𝙍𝙀 𝙇𝙊𝙑𝙀
Demonstrate genuine, selfless love for one another, reflecting the love that Christ has shown us.

May we not only hear God's Word but faithfully live it out each day. As we imitate Christ, commit ourselves fully to Him, walk in reverence, and love sincerely, may our lives become a testimony of His transforming grace.

"As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance. But just as He who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do." — 1 Peter 1:14–15

📢𝗚𝗢𝗗'𝗦 𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗧𝗢 𝗔 𝗛𝗢𝗟𝗬 𝗟𝗜𝗙𝗘✨

"But as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written, 'Be holy, for I am holy.'" — 1 Peter 1:15–16

Today, we were reminded of God's call to live a life of holiness—not because we are perfect, but because we belong to a holy God.

𝘛𝘩𝘳𝘦𝘦 𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘵𝘩𝘴 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴:
𝟭. 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝗶𝘀 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝘆 – He is perfectly pure, set apart from all creation, and His holiness is the standard for our lives.
𝟮. 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗛𝗶𝘀 𝗣𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗕𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝘆 – Holiness touches every area of our lives, calls us to turn away from sin, and is God's command—not merely an option.
𝟯. 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 – As we surrender our will, follow the leading of the Holy Spirit, and dedicate every part of our lives to God, we become more like Christ.

May we answer God's call with willing hearts, allowing His holiness to be reflected in our thoughts, words, actions, and relationships each day.

"Be holy, for I am holy." — Leviticus 19:2

💙 Following our worship service, we also celebrated a beautiful Baptism Service, rejoicing with those who publicly declared their faith in Jesus Christ. May God continue to strengthen them as they walk in their new life with Him. Let us continue to pray for them as they faithfully follow Christ.
