YOUTH SERVICE PHOTO HIGHLIGHTS||

We had a blessed and meaningful Youth Service!

Ate Jay Ann ( Youth Adviser) reminded us of the negative effects of excessive cellphone use and how it can consume our precious time.
She encouraged us to use our time wisely and make more time for God and His Word.

More importantly, we were encouraged to prioritize reading and studying the Bible, because God’s Word guides us in our daily lives.

May we learn to use our time wisely, spend less time on distractions, and spend more time with God. 🙏❤️

📖 Preacher: Sis. Jay Ann Salnigon (Youth Adviser)

Message Title: "Be Sober and Be Vigilant"
📖 1 Peter 5:8 (KJV)
"Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour."

Sis. Jay Ann reminded us that the devil is compared to a roaring lion because he is always looking for someone to deceive, tempt, and lead away from God. Just as a lion watches for weak or unguarded prey, the enemy looks for opportunities when we become spiritually careless.

She also encouraged the youth not to give in to peer pressure. The world may pressure us to compromise our faith, follow ungodly trends, or make sinful choices just to fit in. But as followers of Christ, we are called to stand firm, choose what is right, and obey God rather than follow the crowd.

Let us remain sober in mind, vigilant in spirit, faithful in prayer, and grounded in God's Word. When we stay close to Jesus, He gives us the strength to resist temptation and overcome the attacks of the enemy.

Youth Sunday School Highlights||

This Sunday School, Sis. Jay Ann, our Youth Adviser, had a meaningful recap about Integrity and Honesty, Sexual Integrity, Holiness in our Physical and Spiritual life, and Tithes—reminding us that honoring God is reflected in our daily choices, purity of heart, discipline over our bodies, and faithfulness in giving.

📖 Proverbs 10:9
“Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but whoever takes crooked paths will be found out.”

We were also reminded that tithes are our way of trusting God by giving back a portion of what He has blessed us with. It teaches us gratitude, responsibility, and dependence on God, even as youth—showing that everything we have comes from Him. 🙏💛
May we continue to live lives that glorify God in every area.
