CHURCH FACTS | The Sacrament of Baptism

The sacrament of Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit and the door which gives access to the other sacraments. Through Baptism we are freed from sin and reborn as children of God; we become members of Christ, are incorporated into the Church and made sharers in its mission: “Baptism is the sacrament of regeneration through water in the word.” The Greek word baptizein means to plunge or to immerse, and whether we are literally immersed in water or the water is poured upon us, the water symbolizes the burial with Christ of the catechumen.

Condemnation will make a story in your head.

"Angay pa ba kang paminawon?"
"Makasasala man kayo ka"
"Wala ka naulaw sa Ginoo?"

Kana bang mga story nga mas mahimong rason para mulugmok ka. Pero maskin panan-aw nimo nga dili naka angay paminawon, ang Ginoo kay andam gihapon maminaw sa imuha. Karon unsa ka ka-andam para makig-istorya Niya?

Dili man bastos ang Ginoo nga pahawaon ka sa dihang gusto ka makig-istorya, andam Siya kanunay. Maskin pa nasayod na siya sa isulti nimo, andam gihapon Siya maminaw nimo.

Let that condemnation disappear by starting to talk to God.
