Started the year 2025 with hearts full of joy and gratitude by sharing blessings with the Indigenous Community in Capissayan Sur. The event, initiated by the UMYF Capissayan Sur, was a meaningful way to reflect God’s love through simple acts of kindness. Inspired by Acts 20:35, 'In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: "It is more blessed to give than to receive,"' we came together to bring smiles and warmth to those in need.

Through this heartfelt act of gift-giving, we were reminded that true blessings come from giving and sharing, no matter how small. Most of the recipients were Indigenous Community children, and their smiles and joy reminded us of the beauty of sharing God’s love. As we step into this new year, may we continue to carry the spirit of generosity and kindness, sowing seeds of love and hope in the lives of others. Together, we can make every moment an opportunity to reflect God’s love.

We extend our deepest gratitude to the sponsors whose generosity made this event possible. Your kindness and support have truly made a difference. Looking ahead to the next Christmas and New Year season, we warmly invite those who feel called to share their blessings to partner with us in expanding the reach of this initiative. PART 2 - SIBOL🌱

"Christmas Institute 2024 at Callao UMC last December 26-28 was a time of spiritual growth, fellowship, and encouragement as the NECD UMYF gathered under the theme 'SIBOL'—to sprout and grow in faith. As Hebrews 10:24-25 says, "And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching,"we were reminded of the importance of coming together to nurture our faith and inspire each other to live out Christ’s love.

Through meaningful worship, engaging activities, and heartfelt moments of fellowship, the event became a powerful reminder of how God cultivates growth in our lives when we remain connected to Him and to one another. As we return to our respective communities, may the lessons and bonds formed during CI 2024 encourage us to keep growing in faith, bearing fruit for His glory, and sharing His love in all we do. Truly, our time together was a season of flourishing, a testimony to God’s work in our lives!"

✨CAPISSAYAN SUR UMYF UPDATE✨

A youth general meeting was held on August 11 at Capissayan Sur UMC to discuss the proposed plans for the fiscal year August 2024 to August 2025.

The meeting aimed to plan all upcoming activities they wish to participate in and programs they want to implement. The highlight of the meeting focused on how to strengthen their ministry, raise funds, and deepen their faith. They are looking forward to successfully fulfilling their plans with God's guidance. SI KRISTO HIGIT SA LAHAT.
