All glory to God! During our Men’s Retreat, five men took a bold step of faith and were baptized, publicly declaring their commitment to follow Jesus Christ.

We rejoice in this wonderful testimony of God’s saving grace and celebrate the new life they have found in Him.

A Captain’s Call: Following Christ Through Every Storm

Every man faces storms that test his faith, yet Christ’s call remains the same: “Follow Me.”

The men of COG Barbarit gathered for a time of spiritual renewal, fellowship, and growth, and was reminded that true strength is found in Christ, the One who commands the wind and the waves.

As captains lead their ships with purpose, may every man lead his home, ministry, and daily life with Christ at the center, standing firm in His promise:

“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you.” — Isaiah 43:2

May this retreat be more than a memory. May it be a turning point in faithfully following Christ.

A father after God’s own heart is not a perfect man, but a faithful one, leading with love, serving with humility, leading his household in faith, prayer, and obedience to God

Yesterday, we honored and celebrated the fathers of COG Barbarit who reflect the heart of our Heavenly Father through their prayers, sacrifices, guidance, and unwavering faith.

Thank you for being godly examples to your families, the church, and the next generation. May the Lord continue to strengthen you, bless your leadership, and draw you closer to His heart each day. Happy Father’s Day!

This Father’s Day, we thank God for the fathers, father figures, and spiritual leaders He has placed in our lives.

But above all, we celebrate the One who perfectly reveals what a Father truly is.

Our Abba Father is not distant or indifferent. He is the Father who draws near, leads with love, remains faithful, and loves us with an everlasting love.

No matter your story today, whether you're rejoicing, grieving, missing a father, or celebrating one, you have a heavenly Father who knows you, sees you, and calls you His child through Jesus Christ.

May we rest in the love of our Abba Father and reflect His heart to those around us.

Psalm 91 points us to the safest place we can be. Not a location, but a life lived close to God. He is not merely a refuge, but MY refuge. Not just a fortress, but MY fortress.
