Topic: “Turning to Christ” – Conversion (Faith & Repentance)
Passage: Philippians 1:29

Points:
1. Conversion Is a Gift From God
Ephesians 2:8–9 — Salvation is by grace through faith
John 6:44 — No one can come unless drawn by the Father
2 Timothy 2:25 — God grants repentance

2. Conversion Includes Repentance Toward God
Luke 13:3 — “Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish”
Psalm 51:17 — God accepts a broken and contrite heart
Isaiah 55:7 — Let the wicked forsake his way

3. Conversion Includes Faith in Jesus Christ
Romans 10:9 — Believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead
John 3:16 — Whoever believes in Him shall not perish
Galatians 2:16 — Justified by faith in Christ

*Conclusion:
True conversion is a God-given turning of the whole person to Christ. Repentance and faith are inseparable—repentance turns us away from sin, and faith turns us to Jesus Christ for salvation. A converted life will show evidence of genuine faith through obedience, love for God, and perseverance.

Blessed day everyone! ☀️

“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.” - 1 Corinthians 15:58 📖

A reminder to stay faithful and keep serving God with all our hearts. Even when the work becomes tiring, nothing we do for the Lord is ever wasted. 🙏 Continue standing firm, trusting Him, and serving with joy. 💖

We were blessed to gather together in prayer, worship, and the study of God’s Word during our Midweek Prayer Service. Truly, God refreshed our hearts as we sought Him together. ❤️

Hosea 14:2 reminds us that true prayer:
1. Returns to God (repentance)
2. Confesses sin honestly
3. Produces worship and obedience

Thankful for everyone who joined and lifted their prayers to the Lord. 🙏

Praise God for a blessed and meaningful Church Covenanting at Sovereign Grace Christian Community Marinduque! As one body in Christ, we committed ourselves to love, serve, and walk in obedience to His Word. 🤍

We started off with Morning Devotion and Breakfast, followed by preparation for Covenanting.

We covenant first and foremost to God, and together as His church, to live in faithfulness, love, and unity—standing firm in Christ as one body.

We praise God for the official SGCC members, trusting the Lord to continually build and strengthen His church.
We thank God for Covenant Care for Kids, nurturing young hearts for His glory, and we continue to pray for all Covenant Candidates—that the Lord will guide and sustain them in their commitment. 🙏

At last, we joyfully shared moments of fellowship through Games and Activities together with our May celebrants—truly a day filled with unity, joy, and thanksgiving to the Lord! 🎉😊

Theme: BE FIRM: "Stay firm when everything else fails!"

Colossians 2:6–7
“As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.”

In a world full of uncertainty and change, we are called to remain founded in Christ, immovable in truth, resilient and mature in faith. When everything else fails, Christ remains our sure foundation. 🌿✨

Let us continue to walk in Him—firm, grounded, and growing in gratitude.

Blessed day! ✨
We praise God for a truly successful and Spirit-filled Gospel preaching, street teaching, and feeding outreach at Wayangan, Gasan, Marinduque! 🙌 What a joy to see children eager to learn, families listening to the Word, and the community being reached with the love and truth of the Gospel.

From teaching Bible lessons, singing songs, sharing testimonies, to distributing food—every moment was a reminder that our labor in the Lord is never in vain 💖

“Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.” — Matthew 4:4 📖

Tonight, we gathered and were reminded of this unshakable truth—because Christ lives, our hope stood firm, our sins were forgiven, and new life was secured in Him 🙌🔥
