January 3 | Post-Christmas Party

On January 3, the Knights of the Altar of St. John the Baptist Parish gathered at Roxas Park, Brgy. Calma for a simple and joyful Post-Christmas Party. The short program, hosted by Bro. John Bell, brought smiles and laughter to everyone, along with parlor games that strengthened unity and friendship.

The gathering was made more meaningful by the message of Sem. Jude, who reminded the acolytes of the true meaning of Christmas and the joy of serving together. This celebration became a special time of fellowship, deepening the bond of brotherhood within the ministry.

This year, the Parish of St. John the Baptist in Garcia-Hernandez, Bohol, lovingly revived its century-old tradition of bringing the image of the Holy Child into homes across the town, sharing the profound peace, hope, and joy of Christmas with every family.

On this most solemn and glorious occasion, the Church rejoices in the Nativity of our Savior, Jesus Christ—the Word made flesh who came to dwell among us. With hearts filled with reverence and gratitude, we contemplate the profound mystery of God’s boundless love revealed in the humility of the manger.

May this sacred celebration renew within us the hope and peace bestowed by Christ, the Prince of Peace, whose coming dispels all darkness and fills the world with divine light.

Let us unite in prayer and thanksgiving as we honor and glorify the birth of our Redeemer.

PANAGTAPOK | After the celebration of the Holy Mass, the newly installed altar servers and their families gathered at the Jose–Narciso Hall for a shared meal. Following the simple dinner, the new servers performed the song “Pagkakaibigan” by Fr. Charlie Cenzon, SJ, as their welcome presentation, while the senior altar servers entertained everyone with a lively dance performance. This welcome gathering helps strengthen and deepen the spirit of brotherhood in the ministry.
