Text: Philippians 3:13–16
This 2026, God calls us to move forward in faith, leaving the past behind and pressing on toward His divine purpose. Philippians 3:13–16 reminds us not to dwell on former failures or successes, but to continue walking faithfully in the calling God has given us.
First, moving forward means choosing to 𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙜𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙜𝙚𝙩. According to Ephesians 4:31–32, we are to let go of bitterness, anger, and resentment, and instead show kindness and forgiveness, just as God forgave us through Christ.
Second, we are encouraged to 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙮 𝙛𝙤𝙘𝙪𝙨𝙚𝙙 𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙛𝙪𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚, 𝙛𝙞𝙭𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙚𝙮𝙚𝙨 𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙇𝙤𝙧𝙙’𝙨 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙥𝙪𝙧𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙚𝙨. 2 Timothy 2:4–5 teaches us to avoid worldly distractions and live with discipline, aiming to please God in everything we do.
God’s call for us is clear: to live in purity, receive His salvation, trust in His faithfulness, and share in His glory as we remain obedient to Him.
Finally, we are reminded to 𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙚 𝙂𝙤𝙙 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙝𝙤𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙮. Hebrews 10:22–25 calls us to draw near to God with a true heart, hold firmly to our hope, and encourage one another in love and good works.
To move FORWARD in 2026 means:
F – Fight the good fight of faith
O – Overcome challenges through Christ
R – Remain faithful
W – Word of God as our foundation
A – Adoption as God’s children
R – Righteousness through Christ
D – Desire to serve and honor God
This is God’s Word for us in 2026: press on, remain faithful, and never turn away from serving the Lord.
