𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | May 31, 2026

Yesterday, our young communicants received Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist for the very first time. It was a joyful and grace-filled celebration as they took an important step in their faith journey and encountered the Lord in a profound way through the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist.

We give thanks to God for the gift of this special day and pray that our First Communicants may continue to grow in faith, hope, and love, remaining faithful to Christ and His Church throughout their lives.

We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to all parents and guardians whose love, guidance, sacrifices, and unwavering support have nurtured the faith of these children from their earliest years. Your commitment to raising them in the Christian faith has helped prepare them for this sacred moment in their spiritual journey.

Likewise, we sincerely thank our dedicated catechists for their time, patience, and devotion in teaching and forming our young communicants. Through your efforts, guidance, and witness of faith, these children have been prepared to receive Jesus in the Holy Eucharist with understanding, reverence, and love.

May the Lord abundantly bless all our parents, guardians, catechists, sponsors, and everyone who contributed to the success of this meaningful celebration.

Congratulations to all our First Communicants! May your hearts always remain close to Jesus in the Holy Eucharist, and may His presence guide and strengthen you each day of your lives.

✨ TRINITY SUNDAY IS COMING✨

After Easter and Pentecost,
the Catholic Church invites us to contemplate one of the deepest mysteries of our faith:

✝️The Most Holy Trinity

Three Divine Persons…
but: One God.

This is the center of Christian life.

In every:
Sign of the Cross , Holy mass prayer
and sacrament. We always call upon:FATHER, SON, and HOLY SPIRIT.

THE FATHER:
is the source of life, mercy, and creation.

THE SON:
is the one who saved us through His: suffering, death, and resurrection.

THE HOLY SPIRIT:
continues to: guide, strengthen, and sanctify the Church.

Although different in Person,
they are; completely united
in one divine love.

In a world full of; division, pride, selfishness, loneliness
the Holy Trinity reminds us that: we were created for love and unity. Even though the human mind cannot fully comprehend the mystery of the Trinity… it leads us even more; to faith, trust, love for God.

As Trinity Sunday approaches,
may;the Father protect us, Jesus accompany us, and the Holy Spirit fill us with: wisdom, strength, peace and holiness.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Chosen to embody faith, grace, virtue, and devotion, these young ladies, accompanied by their escorts, shall take part in this year’s Santa Cruzan — a cherished Filipino Catholic tradition honoring the Blessed Virgin Mary and commemorating the discovery of the Holy Cross by Reyna Elena.

We warmly invite everyone to witness and support this sacred celebration on May 31, 2026, at St. Michael the Archangel Parish, Gamay, Northern Samar.

As we enter the second part of Ordinary Time in the Liturgical Year, may we continue to grow in faith, hope, and love through the ordinary moments of our daily lives. In this season of grace, may Christ guide us to live faithfully in service, prayer, and discipleship. 💚🙏

CONVERSION through the HOLY SPIRIT: A Gift to Every COMMUNITY IN MISSION."

27th Diocesan Pentecost Vigil and Family Day Celebration. 🙏🏻🤍

With hearts full of gratitude, St. Michael the Archangel Parish Gamay, Northern Samar, under the pastoral care of our beloved Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Alan Abalon Jr. and our Parish Vicar Rev. Fr. Meramar Irinco, sent forth 257 delegates to the 27th Diocesan Pentecost Vigil and Family Day Celebration in San Antonio, Northern Samar.

Together with our brothers and sisters from the Diocese of Catarman, we gathered as one family to commemorate the birth of the Church and the powerful outpouring of the Holy Spirit. In prayer, in worship, and in joyful fellowship, we witnessed once again how the Spirit unites us despite our differences.

"And suddenly there came from the sky a noise like a strong driving wind... Then there appeared to them tongues as of fire, which parted and came to rest on each one of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit." _Acts 2:2-4_

Just as the apostles were transformed on that first Pentecost, may this experience renew and strengthen us in our mission. As we return to our parish and our homes, we carry with us the same fire — the fire of faith, service, and love.

We express our deepest gratitude to the St. Anthony of Padua Parish, San Antonio, Northern Samar for the warm welcome and for hosting this blessed celebration. We also thank our shepherds, Rev. Fr. Alan Abalon and Rev. Fr. Meramar Irinco, for their guidance, prayers, and for journeying with the delegates.

May the Holy Spirit continue to guide the Pilgrims of St. Michael the Archangel Parish Church, as we journey together in faith under the care of Fr. Alan & Fr. Meramar.
