✨ 5TH & LAST SUNDAY OF AUGUST ✨

THEME: Strength for the Weary in Waiting
📖 Scripture: Isaiah 40:27–31

Waiting can be tiring, but God never wastes our waiting season. Sometimes, He uses the waiting to strengthen our faith, renew our strength, and prepare us for what He has promised. 🙏✨

Let us remember to SOAR:

🪽 S — See God’s Greatness
Recognize His power and faithfulness even when we cannot see the answer yet.

🤍 O — Own God’s Gentleness
Trust His gentle guidance and remember that He cares for us.

🌿 A — Admit Human Limitations
We may grow tired and weak, but God’s strength never runs out.

🕊️ R — Rest in God While Waiting
Be still, trust His timing, and continue believing in His promises.

“Waiting on God is not a wasting of time.”
It is a season of growth, preparation, and deeper faith.

May we continue to wait, trust, and SOAR with God. 🦅✨

4TH SUNDAY OF AUGUST | WORK, WAIT & OBEY IS FAITH 🙏✨

Faith is not only about believing—it is about working while we wait, trusting while we obey, and remaining faithful even when we don’t yet see the result.

In Ruth 2:11–12, we see Ruth’s faithfulness and courage. In Ruth 3:1–6, we see her obedience and willingness to follow Naomi’s guidance.

🌱 WORK — Do your part faithfully.
⏳ WAIT — Trust God’s perfect timing.
🙌 OBEY — Follow His direction even when it requires courage.

When we work, wait, and obey, we show God that our faith is real. His plans may not happen according to our timing, but we can trust that He is always working behind the scenes. ❤️

“Work faithfully. Wait patiently. Obey completely. Trust God entirely.”

🌿 3RD SUNDAY OF AUGUST | HOLD ON TO YOUR HOPE IN THE LORD 🌿

There may be moments when we feel tired, uncertain, or discouraged—but God is still faithful. When everything seems unclear, choose to hold on to the One who never lets go. 🤍

✨ H — Hold on to the Word of God
“Everything that was written in the past was written for our instruction…” — Romans 15:4

✨ O — Outlook the positive
Choose to see every situation with faith, knowing that God can bring something good from it. — Hebrews 3:5–6

✨ P — Persevere in prayer
Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep waiting on God. — Isaiah 40:31

✨ E — Enthrone Jesus in your heart
Give Jesus the center place in your life and allow Him to lead you. — Revelation 3:20

💛 When hope feels weak, remember where your hope comes from.
Our circumstances may change, but God remains faithful.

“The Lord is good to those whose hope is in Him, to the one who seeks Him.”
— Lamentations 3:25

🙏 Hold on. Keep believing. Keep praying. Keep hoping in the Lord.

✨ First Sunday of August✨

A new month is another opportunity to grow in faith, serve with love, and strengthen one another in Christ. As we begin this blessed month of August, may we be reminded that being a member of the church is not only a privilege but also a responsibility—to encourage, serve, pray, and build up one another.

📖 Theme: Responsibilities of a Church Member
📖 Scripture: 1 Thessalonians 5:11
“Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.”

Today, we also thank God for the lives of our August birthday celebrants, remember Christ’s sacrifice through Holy Communion, and rejoice as our Children’s Department learns the beautiful lesson of The Lost Sheep, reminding us that every soul is precious in the eyes of our Good Shepherd.

May the Lord fill our hearts with His presence as we worship together. Let us continue to encourage one another and faithfully fulfill our calling as members of Christ’s church.

Welcome, August. Welcome, Church. Let us continue building one another up until the whole world sees Christ in us.🤍✨

Last Sunday of July

Theme: “God’s Word Brings Life to Our Home”
Scripture: Deuteronomy 32:47

God’s Word is not merely a collection of teachings—it is life itself. When a home is built upon His Word, it is filled with wisdom, peace, strength, and purpose. No matter what storms may come, a family that treasures God’s Word will remain firmly rooted in His promises.

“Take to heart all the words I have solemnly declared to you this day… They are not just idle words for you—they are your life.” — Deuteronomy 32:46–47

May our homes continually be places where God’s Word is read, lived, and passed on to the next generation.

3rd Sunday of July | Theme: Fight the Good Fight of Faith (2 Timothy 4:1–8)

The Christian life is not a life of comfort, but a life of commitment, perseverance, and faith. As believers, we are called to stand firm in the midst of trials, remain faithful through every season, and continue running the race that God has set before us.

Like the Apostle Paul, may we one day say with confidence, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” Though the journey may be difficult, we are never alone, for God is with us every step of the way.

We fight not for victory, but from victory, because Christ has already won.

Therefore, let us continue to fight the good fight of faith, knowing that our labor in the Lord is never in vain and that an eternal crown awaits those who remain faithful until the end.

Our hearts are full as we conclude another blessed Sunday in God’s presence. Today’s message, “Pain Turn Into Praise and Purpose” (Acts 16:16–34), reminded us that no trial is too great for God’s power. Every struggle has a purpose, and every act of praise brings us closer to His perfect plan.

Every trial has a purpose, and every pain can become a testimony in the hands of God. Like Paul and Silas, may we choose worship over worry, faith over fear, and praise over pain. When we lift our voices to the Lord, He opens doors no one else can.

“Your pain may be temporary, but God’s purpose is eternal.”

See you next Sunday!

1st Divine Service | July ✨

A blessed start to the month as we gathered in worship and reflected on God’s Word with the theme:

“Tips Not to Be Deceived by the Evil” 1st Peter 5:6-11

May we remain watchful, rooted in Scripture, and faithful to Christ in every season.

We also celebrated our July birthday celebrants through a special prayer and shared together in the Holy Communion, remembering Christ’s sacrifice and His unfailing love.

May this month of July be filled with God’s wisdom, protection, grace, and abundant blessings.

To God be all the glory! 🙏❤️
