The four basics
Prayer: Developing a personal relationship with Jesus through prayer is fundamental. This involves praying for yourself to understand God's word and for compassion for others, as well as praying for those God is leading you to reach.
The Word of God: This involves learning to read and understand the Bible on your own and applying its teachings to your life. You learn to trust God with every circumstance and to obey His commandments.
Community/Relationships: Building intentional, accountable relationships with other believers is essential. This also includes forming relationships with non-believers to share God's love and to grow together in a supportive community.
Making disciples: The ultimate goal is to become a disciple who makes other disciples. This involves both showing others how to live out their faith and teaching them to obey Jesus' commands, ultimately reproducing the process of discipleship.
