PRESENTING THE OFFICIAL LOGO OF THE NATIONAL EVANGELIZATION AND CATECHETICAL MONTH 2026

"DUMNGEG (Listen): Synodal Journey for ONE Mission"

With great joy, we unveil the official logo of this year's National Evangelization and Catechetical Month (NECM) 2026.

The logo beautifully expresses the heart of this year's theme, "Dumngeg (Listen): Synodal Journey for ONE Mission." The Ilocano word "Dumngeg" means "Listen", inviting every catechist, evangelizer, and member of the faithful to open their hearts to God's Word, to the promptings of the Holy Spirit, and to one another as we journey together in faith.

At the center of the logo is the ear, symbolizing the Church's call to become a listening community. The Cross reminds us that authentic listening is always rooted in Jesus Christ, while the flowing lines and circles represent the People of God walking together in communion, participation, and mission.

May this logo inspire us to become a Church that listens before it speaks, accompanies before it leads, and journeys together in proclaiming the Good News.

Let us all unite in celebrating the National Evangelization and Catechetical Month 2026 and continue building a synodal Church that listens, journeys together, and shares in Christ's one mission.

RECOMMISIONING.....

as Members of the Catechetical Ministry, Our Lady of Loreto Chapel, recommitting to render services in offering glory to God.

Catechists ......who are faithful volunteers carrying on the teachings of the Church and the Word of God to children, youth, and adult converts, and encounter God in their daily lives.

May they be blessed by God and guided by the Holy Spirit on their mission and endeavors.

A Courtesy Call made to Ma'am Irene N Marquez, the Principal of Basa Air Base Elementary School on 30 June 2026, as the new School Year 2026-2027 started.

Schedule of classes and catechesis had been coordinated, for the benefit of the learners, in order to further and deepen their faith by loving, serving and knowing God.

With the guidance of the Base Chaplain, Rev Fr (MAJ) Elvin D Carupo CHS, and the support of the MOP Catechetical Ministry Coordinator, Sr Eden Coronado MCST.

Flores de Mayo 2026….

The Culmination, of the daily catechesis, prayers and flower offerings…

Sincere gratitude to all the children who took part in the celebration of May Flower 2026.

Certificates were given to all the children for their perseverance and active participation during the whole month celebration.

Acknowledging the generous sponsors for the gifts and food for the children during the culmination activity.

May you blessed continuously, with God’s love, through his Son Jesus Christ , and the prayers of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Likewise, thankful for the support and guidance of the Base Chaplain, Rev Fr Elvin D Carupo CHS, and the tirelessly and gracious administration of the members of the Our Lady of Loreto Chapel’s Catechetical Ministry during the whole month endeavor, giving back all the glory to God.
