β€œFaith That Stands on God's Promises”

Abraham's faith was not based on what he could see but on who God is. Even when God's promise seemed impossible because of his old age and Sarah's barrenness, Abraham chose to trust instead of doubt. The more he trusted God, the stronger his faith became, and he glorified God by believing that He would do exactly what He had promised.

Like Abraham, we all face situations that test our faithβ€”waiting for answered prayers, facing uncertainty, or overcoming challenges that seem beyond our control. This passage reminds us that faith is not pretending problems don't exist; it is being fully convinced that God is faithful despite them. When we focus on God's character rather than our circumstances, our faith grows stronger, our hearts are filled with hope, and our lives bring glory to Him.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for being faithful to every promise You have made. Forgive us for the times we allow fear and doubt to overshadow our faith. Strengthen our hearts to remain steadfast, believing that You are always working for our good and for Your glory. Teach us to give You praise while we wait, knowing that You are able to accomplish everything You have promised. May our lives reflect unwavering faith that encourages others to trust You as well. In Jesus' name, Amen.
