You stand before open pages week after week, wrestling with ancient texts that still breathe fire. Drawing from the rich Reformed tradition, you boldly proclaim sola gratia—grace unearned and mercy undeserved. In quiet studies lit by early morning lamps, you carry sorrows not your own. You craft sermons out of prayer and sweat, translating the eternal Word into the language of our daily tears and triumphs. You remind us, Sunday after Sunday, that we are merely beggars telling other beggars where to find bread.

Yet you do not walk alone. Beside the pastor labor the hidden saints—the church workers whose devotion stitches our communities together. To the elders who guide with steady wisdom, the deacons who carry comfort to the margins, the musicians who tune our chaos into corporate praise, and the administrators who keep the doors open: you embody the priesthood of all believers. Your daily work is true liturgy; your service is living praise.

In your shared ministry, we catch a glimpse of the wide, borderless church. Though you serve beneath local banners, you belong to the vast ecumenical tapestry—the one holy, universal body of Christ. When you break bread and lift the cup, you join a chorus spanning every tribe, tongue, and tradition. You teach us that the love of Christ cannot be fenced by human division.
