November 26, 2023 - The Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe.

Prayer to Jesus Christ our King and Lord

Jesus Christ, King of the Universe, our Lord and God, Redeemer of the human race, our Savior! You who said that Your Kingdom is not of this world, who called us to seek the Kingdom of God and taught us to ask in prayer to the Father: "Thy Kingdom come," look upon us standing before Thy Majesty. We exalt You, we worship and adore You. We humbly submit to Your Lordship and Your Law. Aware of our faults and insults inflicted upon Your Heart, we apologize for all our sins and neglected goodness. We express our repentance and ask for mercy. We pledge to strive for the multiplication of Your Glory, to give thanks for the infinite Mercy You show from generation to generation, to respond to Your Love with faithfulness and obedience. Divine King of our hearts, may Your Holy Spirit, support us in fulfilling these obligations, protect us from evil and accomplish our sanctification. May He help us order our entire life and the mission of the Church. Reign over us, Christ! Reign in our homeland, reign in every nation, for the greater glory of the Most Holy Trinity and for the salvation of people. Grant that our families, villages, cities and the whole world may embrace Thy Kingdom: the kingdom of truth and life, the kingdom of holiness and grace, the kingdom of justice, love and peace, now and forevermore. Amen.

O God, whose only begotten Son, by His life, death, and resurrection, has purchased for us the rewards of eternal salvation. Grant, we beseech Thee, that while meditating on these mysteries of the most holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, that we may both imitate what they contain and obtain what they promise, through Christ our Lord. Amen.
