1 Corinthians 12:4-6 reminds everyone that "there are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work."

Many servants of God worship differently. Some raise their hands, some kneel in silence. Some preach with fire, some teach with gentleness. Some minister through music, some through the written word. These are not contradictions β€” they are the same Spirit working through many members, just as the body has many parts but is still one body (1 Corinthians 12:12).

A different style of worship is not a license to criticize. When a servant of God is torn down simply because their expression of faith looks different, it is not just that person being wounded β€” it is an attack on the very Spirit who gave them their gift in the first place.

Let there be no division in the body. Let every gifting be honored, for it flows from one Source.
