Global Youth Day 2026 | Communion in Action

On March 22, 2026, the spirit of service and compassion was deeply felt as the AYEF Officers gathered in Awang, Opol, Misamis Oriental to celebrate Global Youth Day through a meaningful Gift Giving activity. With hearts united in love and mission, 50 families were reached and blessed with simple yet heartfelt gifts — a reminder that even the smallest acts of kindness can reflect the greatest love of Christ.

This initiative was made possible through the dedication of the AYEF Officers, together with their adviser, Sir Adrian Lloyd Jabagat, and the volunteer youth from Tugasnon Church. We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to the brothers and sisters of Awang Church who did not hesitate to assist and support us in extending this gift-giving activity to the community. Also, we sincerely thank the ETC and the members of the Everlasting Association for their support, cooperation, and shared commitment in making this outreach a success.

This initiative stands as a testament that true communion in action is lived out not only in words, but through genuine service to others. As we shared what we have, we were reminded that Jesus’ love becomes more powerful when it is experienced through giving, caring, and reaching out.

May this moment continue to inspire us to serve selflessly and embody Christ’s love in our everyday lives. To God be all the glory!

Global Youth Day 2026 | Communion in Action

More than 200 youth came together in prayer, fellowship, and active service at Sambulawan SDA Church for a meaningful celebration of Global Youth Day 2026, centered on the theme: Communion in Action.

Inspired by Acts 4:31, we were reminded that true communion with Christ is not confined within the walls of a church — it is lived out through serving others, reaching out to the community, and boldly sharing God's Word.

Throughout the day, the youth engaged in powerful and purposeful activities including the Bible Writing Project, Prayer Walk, Outreach Program, Opening of the Week of Prayer, and the Distribution of Reading Materials (Tracts) — each one a reflection of a faith that moves and acts.

We are deeply grateful to our speakers who faithfully delivered God's message and reminded us of how powerful Jesus is in transforming lives, renewing hearts, and strengthening our faith in Him. Special thanks to Stephany Familar as GYD coordinator.

As we carry this experience with us, may we all be encouraged to remain steadfast — continuing to shine His light, extend His grace, and share His love, not just today, but every single day.

To God be all the glory!
