Noong nagsisimula pa lang ako sa worship team, may music director kami na sobrang strict.
Hindi pwede ang "PWEDE NA.”
Pag dumarating siya, biglang nag-iiba ang atmosphere.
Tahimik kami lahat, focused, seryoso.
One rehearsal, hindi nag-practice yung bassist namin sa bahay.
Pagpasok ng unang kanta… mali ang chords, mali ang timing.
Hindi naman sumigaw yung music director namin, pero tumingin siya nang diretso and said:
“Huwag ka a-attend ng rehearsal sa susunod na hindi ka READY ah.”
Ako din ung back-up singer noon pero hindi ko din nakabisado yung timing at lyrics.
Minsan nauuna, minsan nahuhuli.
Pinagalitan niya ako hindi para ipahiya, pero para turuan ako how to honor God with excellence.
Sabi niya: "“Eunice, next time, huwag ka a-attend ng rehearsal sa susunod na hindi ka READY ah. Deserve ni Lord yung the best.”
At that time, ang bigat sa puso pero alam ko may tumatak.
Pero habang tumatagal, narealize ko… kailangan pala namin yun.
Because of him, hindi lang kami gumaling musically kundi lumalim din yung puso namin sa WORSHIP.

3 Things I Learned From My Music Director
🟢1. Faithfulness in private creates strength in public.
Hindi sapat ang talent, kailangan ng CONSISTENCY.
Consistency sa pag-practice. Consistency sa pagiging prepared.
Hindi dahil Sunday ka naka-assign eh doon ka lang magpi-prepare, kundi dahil worship is your lifestyle.
Araw-araw consistent ka.
Yun ang tunay na character formation ng isang totoong worshipper.
🟢2. Excellence honors God more than perfection.
Hindi kailangan ni Lord ng perfect performance.
Pero kailangan Niya ng PUSO at DISIPLINA natin.
Kaya mahalaga na binibigay natin ung the best natin kahit rehearsal palang.
In this way, makikita din ng iba that we are really serious about what we are doing for the Lord.
At syempre, mapapangiti natin ang Diyos dahil the best ang maibibigay natin sa Kanya.
🟢3. Worship is not about being seen, it's about being surrendered.
Marami siyang inalis sa amin na ego.
Tinuro niya that before God promotes you onstage, He SHAPES you backstage.
And looking back now…napansin ko na yung mga pino-promote ni Lord ay hindi yung pinaka-magaling, hindi yung pinaka-bida, kundi yung mga faithful.
Yung consistent kahit walang nakatingin.
Yung prepared kahit walang applause.
Yung may puso kahit walang spotlight.
Heaven promotes differently.
Remember this:
"God promotes the FAITHFUL, not the famous."
Sabi nga sa Luke 16:10: “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much.”
Ito yung verse na tumatak sa amin.
Kung paano ka mag-serve in the unseen…yun ang magde-determine ng promotion mo in the seen.
So if you’re in a hidden season right now…keep being faithful.
God sees you.
And in His perfect timing, He lifts up those whose hearts are trained in the secret place.
Be faithful in the unseen.
God will handle the ELEVATION. 🙌🔥
