𝐀𝐒𝐇 𝐖𝐄𝐃𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐃𝐀𝐘 | Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent, a sacred season of prayer, fasting, and reflection. The ashes placed on our foreheads remind us of our human frailty and our constant need for God’s mercy, calling us to turn away from sin and renew our hearts. ❣️

As we begin this journey, we are invited to walk more intentionally in faith, humility, and love. Ash Wednesday is the beginning of Lent, a 40-day season of prayer, fasting, and repentance that prepares Christians for Easter. The tradition of receiving ashes comes from an ancient biblical practice symbolizing humility, mourning, and a desire to turn back to God, reminding believers of the words, “Remember that you are dust, and to dust you shall return.”

See you all this coming Wednesday, 18 February 2026 at Saint Vincent Ferrer Parish Church, Bitoon at 5:00 PM to officially start the Lent Season of the liturgical year! ⛪✨

Ang Misa Novena mag-sugod kada-adlaw inig ka alas 5:00 sa hapon, apan sa adlawng Domingo, ipahigayon ang Misa Novena sa 6:30 sa buntag.

Sa Enero 18, 2026, sa kapistahan ni Señor Santo Niño ang misa pagahimoon inig ka 6:30 sa buntag.

𝐁𝐔𝐍𝐃𝐋𝐄𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐉𝐎𝐘 | As the year 2025 comes to an end, the Parish Youth Coordinating Council (PYCC) Bitoon, marks an early start for the year 2026 in love and service to God and His people. ✨

On December 30, 2025, PYCC Bitoon, headed by Ms. Rhiana Jean Serdan, PYCC Coordinator, has distributed Bundles of Joy to our brothers and sisters behind bars in Dumanjug Police Station.

The Bundles of Joy project of PYCC Bitoon is part of its community charity works aimed not just to help the least, lost, and the last in the society, but to make our communities closer to our Lord by sharing His love to all people. ❤️🎁

The project was funded by the proceeds of the Oplan Popas during the 9-day Misa de Gallo in the parish, a fund raising activity aimed to raise adequate amount of funds for our brothers and sisters in prison.

The activity included the reverse caroling, distribution of food packs and hygiene kits, prayer, and sharing of reflection.

𝗡𝗢𝗧𝗘: The activity was communicated beforehand and was under the direct supervision of our Dumanjug police officers.

𝐃𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐄 𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐒 | Saint Vincent Ferrer Parish Church, Bitoon had witnessed yesterday the creative Christmas Dance Presentation from different barangays under the parish's jurisdiction. A total of seven contingents participated the call as part of the Christmas Dance Competition 2025, a friendly competition showcasing the talent, creativity, and the faithful's appreciation of the Christmas spirit. 🌲🎅

𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐚𝐬 𝐄𝐯𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐬 | The community of Saint Vicent Ferrer Parish Church-Bitoon, unites as we approach the nativity of Christ, our savior.

The Christmas Eve Mass was presided over by Rev. Fr. Leo Cubillo. During his homily, he emphasized that Christmas must reflect the birth of Christ not just in the material or physical world, but in the hearts of all people.
