In today's Gospel, Jesus looked upon the crowd with compassion and said to His disciples, "Give them some food yourselves." Through these words, we are reminded of the mission entrusted to His priests, to become faithful instruments of God's compassion by nourishing His people with the Eucharist, proclaiming His Word, and shepherding His flock with love.

On this Priest's Day, the Archdiocese of Cebu Commission on Youth offers its heartfelt gratitude to our beloved Youth Directors, whose guidance, pastoral care, and dedication continue to shape the faith and lives of countless . We likewise honor all our priests, whose generous service and commitment reflect Christ, the Good Shepherd, in every community they serve.

In preparation for the upcoming ๐‘ญ๐’๐’๐’“๐’†๐’” ๐’…๐’† ๐‘ด๐’‚๐’š๐’ 2026, the different Parish Youth Coordinating Councils within the Vicariate of Saint Anne's jurisdiction gathered for a ๐’๐ž๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐š๐ซ-๐–๐จ๐ซ๐ค๐ฌ๐ก๐จ๐ฉ ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ ๐’๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ž๐ซ ๐˜๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ก ๐•๐จ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ง๐ญ๐ž๐ž๐ซ ๐‚๐š๐ญ๐ž๐œ๐ก๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ฌ in their respective parishes. This meaningful event reflects their deep love and devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary as they take on their mission as youth catechists this coming May.

May these hundreds of young people, dedicated to serving and teaching catechesis, become instruments of faithโ€”guiding children and helping them grow closer to Mama Mary.

๐‘ฏ๐‘ถ๐‘ณ๐’€ ๐‘พ๐‘ฌ๐‘ฌ๐‘ฒ 2026๐Ÿ™

The Parish Youth Coordinating Councils (PYCC) from the different parishes of the Vicariate of St. Anne faithfully came together in service during the sacred observance of Holy Week, particularly on Wednesday and Thursday. These young servants generously offered their time, strength, and devotion in assisting the liturgical celebrations and parish activities.

Their service shows their faith, unity, and dedication as young members of the Church. Through their simple acts, they became instruments of love and service in their communities.

May their example continue to inspire more young people to actively participate in the life and mission of the Church, especially during this most solemn season of grace.โœจ
