When the future feels uncertain, it’s comforting to know God’s plan is still good.

Our Bible study last Monday is all about Psalms 34:17–18. This chapter tells how God hears His people when they cry out in trouble, and draws especially near to those who are brokenhearted or crushed in spirit. This teaches us that pain never pushes God away. Instead, our brokenness is where we meet Him closest. He does not reject our hurt, but meets us there to bring comfort, help, and true healing.

Our Bible study today is all about Psalms 40:1-2. This chapter shares how David waited patiently for God amid deep trouble, and the Lord heard his cry, pulled him out of despair and uncertainty, and set him on firm, unshakable ground. It teaches us that waiting on God is an act of confident trust rather than passivity, that He always draws near to hear and deliver us when we have no way out on our own, and that true stability and lasting security come only from Him, not our own efforts or what the world offers.
