During the OFS-YouFra Day, today November 17, 2024, as well as the feast day of St. Elizabeth of Hungary, 9 observers and 15 candidates of the Franciscan Youth along with their ates and kuyas of the OFS Dumaguete of St. Bonaventure Fraternity visited Acasa Esperanza, a house for girls with issues.. They were given inspirations by the OFS. Loaves of bread were distributed followed by the visitation of the sick. Giving hope to each one served as pilgrims in the novena mass in honor of St. Catherine of Alexandria Parish.

YouFra Dumaguete recently conducted an orientation in Taclobo, Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental on July 21, 2024. The event was spearheaded by Mary Jane Verdida, Cebu Regional President and Jojie Mantua, National Councilor for Visayas, along Rosalima Lacorte, OFS, the animator with three SFO of NeDu Region.

Fifteen aspiring members attended the said event which allowed them to get acquainted with Franciscan Youth. The event included various team-building activities designed to strengthen relationships and build a sense of community among the participants. The event successfully fostered connections and provided insights into YouFra's objective.
