Vocation Talk @ San Isidro Labrador Quasi-Parish, Mangganay, Panalaan, Bais City

With hearts filled with gratitude, we thank Rev. Fr. Junifer Toreno, the quasi-parish staff, and the entire community—especially the youth of San Isidro Labrador Quasi-Parish—for your warm welcome and generous hospitality.
Today’s Gospel reminds us that Jesus first looked upon the crowd with compassion before He asked His disciples to share what little they had. In the same way, every vocation begins with the compassionate gaze of Christ. He calls ordinary hearts to become instruments of His extraordinary love. What seems small in our hands becomes abundant when entrusted to Him. (Vatican News)
Our gathering was not simply a vocation talk but a moment of listening together to the gentle voice of God. In the Carmelite tradition, we believe that it is in silence, prayer, and loving attentiveness that the Lord continues to whisper His invitation. May each young person have the courage to place their “five loaves and two fish” into the hands of Jesus, trusting that He can transform their generosity into a blessing for many.
May Our Lady of Mount Carmel, who treasured God’s Word in the silence of her heart, accompany every young person in discerning God’s dream for their lives. Let us continue to pray for vocations, that more hearts may respond with joyful trust and become bread broken for the life of the world.
