In the midst of our busy days and quiet struggles, we are drawn together by Señor Santo Niño, the God who chose to come close to us as a child. Small and gentle, yet powerful in love, He becomes our Bato Balani sa Gugma, drawing our hearts back to faith, trust, and hope.
On January 21 (Wednesday), the Paulinian community is invited to celebrate the Feast of the Sto. Niño. We begin with the Holy Mass at 4:00 PM, followed by a procession and the Sinulog dance; simple movements of prayer that allow us to walk, dance, and entrust our lives to God with childlike faith.
All personnel and students are encouraged to wear red and bring their image of the Sto. Niño. Those without an image may bring a white handkerchief as a sign of surrender and trust. A small offering may also be brought as an act of love that reaches those in need through our outreach programs and Annual Prison Ministry.
May the Sto. Niño meet us where we are and gently draw us closer to God and to one another.
Viva Señor Santo Niño!
