Let’s not blame.
Let’s not point fingers.
Let’s just acknowledge the pain… and pray for healing.
Because when a church relationship ends, it’s not shallow.
It’s not simple.
It’s not “drama.”
It’s tears.
It’s memories.
It’s prayers you once whispered at the altar.
It’s people who once felt like home.
And when that changes, it hurts.
But today, instead of accusation, we choose compassion.
Instead of bitterness, we choose blessing.
Instead of blame, we choose prayer.
Father, heal every heart that feels displaced.
Heal those who left and those who stayed.
Heal the leaders.
Heal the members.
Heal the silent wounds no one talks about.
Psalm 147:3 says,
"He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds."
Lord, bind up what was broken.
Restore what was lost.
Remove offense.
Remove pride.
Remove misunderstanding.
Where there is pain, release peace.
Where there is confusion, release clarity.
Where there is heaviness, release hope.
We will not let church hurt turn into hatred.
We will not let separation destroy our faith.
We will not let wounds make us wander from You.
Jesus, You are still the Head of the Church.
You are still building Your Bride.
And You are still faithful.
For everyone walking through a church breakup, may healing be louder than hurt.
May grace be stronger than grief.
May love outlive the loss.
Amen.
