"Faith, friendship, and festive joy🌲✨ Mission Youth Days + Christmas Party - where hearts unite and spirits celebrate!"

The Mission Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of Jesuscordially invites all youth to take part in the Mission Youth Day and Christmas Party 2025, a meaningful gathering centered on faith, fellowship, and joyful celebration.

With the theme:
“Handang Sumunod Sa Mga Yapak Ni Jesus”, this event aims to strengthen the spiritual journey of the youth while celebrating the joy of Christmas together as one community.

Event Details:

📍 Venue: Mission Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of Jesus
Taytay, Duero, Bohol

Who may join:
👥 Youth aged 13–35 years old

Registration Fee:
💸 ₱50.00 per participant

All interested youth are encouraged to register and join this day filled with prayer, activities, fellowship, and celebration. Let us come together as young disciples, ready to follow in the footsteps of Jesus.

On October 19, 2025, during the Month of the Laity, YIFI - Taytay, Duero joyfully celebrated Youth Sunday. The youth led the Holy Mass as lectors, readers, psalmists, altar servers, and choir members, demonstrating their dedication and unity. We also enjoyed a simple fellowship after the Mass.

WORLD LAITY MONTH CELEBRATION – YOUTH SUNDAY 🌟🌎

Mission of Taytay, Duero, Bohol joyfully celebrates Youth Sunday!
A meaningful day to honor the faith, energy, and dedication that young people bring to the life of the Church.

We are truly blessed to have our very own Sis. Maricar A. Deloso, one of our dedicated Lay Readers, share a powerful reflection entitled:
“Why God Delays: A Journey of Faith, Patience, and Purpose.” 🙏

Her message, rooted in the Gospel of Luke 18:1–8, reminds us that unanswered prayers are not forgotten. Through the story of the persistent widow and the unjust judge, we are invited to reflect on five divine reasons why God may delay:
✨ 5 Divine Reasons for Delay ✨
1️⃣ To Humble Our Pride – So we learn to depend on God, not ourselves.
2️⃣ To Strengthen Our Faith – So we grow in patience and trust.
3️⃣ To Reveal Our True Motives – So our prayers align with His will.
4️⃣ To Protect Us from Harm – So we are shielded from unseen dangers.
5️⃣ To Prepare Us for His Answer – So our hearts are ready for the blessing.

Her reflection also speaks to the reality of injustice. The widow had no power, and the judge was unjust—yet her persistence brought justice. This reminds us that God hears the cries of the unheard and calls us to stand in faith and compassion for those without a voice.

Each letter reflects a step in our walk with God. Prayer is not just about asking—it’s about trusting, surrendering, and believing that God moves in His perfect time.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who joined us in this Sunday’s celebration. May we continue to live out the Gospel with courage, hope, and love.

YIFI Retreat 2025 – "Rebuilding Relationship, A Path to Reconciliation"

Guided by the Parable of the Prodigal Son (Luke15:11-32)

With full hearts, we say thank you for your gracious presence and meaningful contributions to YIFI Retreat 2025.

This year’s retreat, inspired by the parable of the Prodigal Son, invited us to reflect deeply on the journey of rebuilding broken relationships through the gesture of leaving, the courage in returning, the grace of acceptance, and the joy of celebration.

Your involvement brought these gestures to life — through worship, fellowship, and your openness to reconciliation. Together, we created a sacred space where hearts were softened, wounds began to heal, and God’s love was made real in our midst.

Thank you, YIFI Bangwalog and YIFI Taytay, for walking this path with us — not just as participants, but as partners in the ministry of reconciliation.

May the lessons we embraced continue to bear fruit in our families, communities, and in our own walk with God.
