We celebrate the ๐๐๐ญ๐ก ๐๐ซ๐๐ฌ๐๐ฒ๐ญ๐๐ซ๐๐ฅ ๐๐ซ๐๐ข๐ง๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐๐ง๐ง๐ข๐ฏ๐๐ซ๐ฌ๐๐ซ๐ฒ of our beloved bishop, ๐๐จ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐๐๐ฏ. ๐๐๐ฏ๐๐ซ๐จ ๐. ๐๐๐๐ซ๐ฆ๐๐ซ๐โgraced on this very day of the Feast of the Divine Mercy.
Bishop Ver's own words remind us of the beauty and truth of his priesthood: that everything is graceโฆ everything is mercy. For thirty years, he has stood at the altar with hands that may have known weariness, yet always open to serve. He has proclaimed the Word of God with a heart that has experienced both strength and weakness, yet remained faithful in answering a calling far greater than oneself.
His life teaches us that priesthood is never about human perfection, but about Godโs mercy working through our limitations. In his humility, we see a priest who does not rely on his own strength, but one who trusts completely in the Lord who called him.
He continues to say, โJesus, misalig ako Kanimoโ, in every joy, in every trial, in every moment of his ministry. And because of this, he has become a living witness that God is always faithful.
Thank you, Bishop Ver, for your quiet courage, your sincere love, and your unwavering trust in God. Through your life, many have come to believe more deeply in the mercy of the Lord.
As you celebrate this blessed day, we join you in prayer, with grateful and humble hearts, asking the Lord to continue to strengthen you, renew you, and fill you with His grace.
Happy 30th Presbyteral Ordination Anniversary, Bishop Ver! We love you and continue to journey with you in faith.
