What: The event was a religious lecture titled “Istigbalu Ramadan: The Rights of Allah SWT Over His Servants.” It focused on preparing Muslims spiritually for the holy month of Ramadan by discussing the obligations and responsibilities of believers toward Allah (SWT). The lecture emphasized strengthening faith (iman), increasing acts of worship such as prayer and charity, practicing sincerity, and renewing one’s commitment to obedience and righteousness. It served as a reminder of the importance of fulfilling Allah’s rights through devotion, gratitude, and moral conduct, especially as the blessed month of Ramadan approaches.

How: The event was conducted through a community lecture where Sheikh Hakim Aud Muksin delivered an inspiring talk about the rights of Allah (SWT) over His servants, emphasizing spiritual preparation, reflection, and strengthening faith in anticipation of Ramadan. WHAT:
The activity is the Opening of the One-Stop Shop for Frontline Government Services, initiated by the Zamboanga del Norte Police Provincial Office (ZNPPO) in coordination with various national and provincial government agencies. The activity aims to bring essential government services closer to the people, particularly PNP personnel, their dependents, and residents within the police camp, in support of accessible, responsive, and people-centered public service.

HOW:
The activity will formally begin with registration, followed by the program proper which includes an invocation, welcome remarks, acknowledgment of participating organizations, presentation of certificates, and a message from the Acting Provincial Director. After the ceremonial opening, the One-Stop Shop will operate with various government agencies providing on-site services such as medical check-ups, issuance of clearances and IDs, registration and processing of loans, distribution of agricultural assistance, and other frontline government services. This collaborative effort highlights the commitment of the PNP and partner agencies to deliver efficient and accessible services under the theme “Serbisyong Nararamdaman, Kapulisang Maasahan.”

The medical mission will be carried out through a well-organized program that begins with an opening prayer led by Ustadz Amerodin Magangcong, followed by the playing of the Philippine National Anthem. Local officials will then deliver their welcome and inspirational messages, along with support messages from representatives of the Police, Military, and partner organizations. The program continues with the introduction of partner agencies who will assist in providing the medical services for the day. A special message will be delivered by the Guest Speaker, Engr. Yusop A. Macabada, highlighting the purpose and importance of the activity. To conclude the formal program, Ustadz Josel Neil Abdullah Bael will lead the closing remark and prayer. After the opening ceremony, the team of SPAG officers, volunteers, and partner agencies will commence the medical mission, offering various healthcare services to the community throughout the day.

WHAT:
The Salaam Police Advocacy recently conducted a Meet and Greet session with the National Spag President Engr. Yusof Macabada, providing members with a meaningful discussion about the mission and purpose of the organization. The session highlighted the advocacy’s commitment to promoting peace, unity, and responsible community involvement, along with a brief explanation of the basic principles of Islam. Members also received inspiring reminders from the National president on the importance of performing good deeds (ibadah) as part of their role in the community.

WHERE:
The session was held at Masjid Shabab Al Khair located in Purok San Roque, Sicayab, Dipolog City. The venue provided a peaceful and respectful environment suitable for learning, reflection, and strengthening the connection among members of the advocacy.

WHEN:
The Meet and Greet took place on June 10, 2025 (Wednesday). Members attended the event to deepen their understanding of the advocacy’s objectives and to hear important guidance directly from the National President.

WHAT:
A Clean-Up Drive activity was successfully conducted to promote environmental stewardship, strengthen community cooperation, and support a cleaner and safer environment.

WHO:
The activity was participated in by the SPAG Zamboanga del Norte Provincial Officers and Members, led by SPAG Provincial President Hj. Julmakin A. Absari, together with PCPT Charlot M. Lapiz (AC, PCADU), who also showed support during the event.

WHEN:
November 22, 2025 (Saturday) at 8:00 AM

WHERE:
Masjid Camp Hamac, Sicayab, Dipolog City

HOW:
Members and officers assembled at the designated location and carried out a coordinated clean-up operation. The team worked collectively in removing waste, clearing the surrounding areas, and ensuring the mosque and its vicinity were clean and orderly. The activity highlighted the commitment of SPAG to community service, environmental care, and peace advocacy.

HOW: : Our group, Salaam Police Advocacy – Zamboanga del Norte, was invited to participate in the Collaborative Stakeholders’ Forum held in partnership with various government agencies, organizations, and community representatives. The event served as a platform to strengthen coordination among different sectors in promoting peace, security, and community development within the province. Together with our group officials and other stakeholders, we actively engaged in discussions addressing current social issues, crime prevention strategies, and ways to enhance community relations. The forum also highlighted the importance of unity and collaboration between law enforcement, local government units, and civil society organizations in achieving lasting peace and progress in Zamboanga del Norte.
