God can turn our darkest seasons into powerful testimonies of His faithfulness and redeeming love.
Six years ago, during the pandemic, I discovered that my husband was being unfaithful. He physically abused me and forced me out of our home. I had nowhere to go, and my heart was filled with fear, pain, and uncertainty.
But God never abandoned me. He made a way when I could not see one. He provided a safe place to live and surrounded me with people who became His hands and feet, encouraging and helping me when I needed it most. Through His grace, He gave me the courage to walk away from a decade of domestic violence and begin rebuilding my life.
Looking back, I can clearly see that God was protecting me all along. He rescued me from an abusive relationship, strengthened me when I felt weak, and reminded me that my identity is found in Him, not in the pain of my past. What the enemy meant for harm, God is using for good.
This worship song, (*Way Maker*) became a source of comfort and hope throughout my healing journey. It reminded me that God is my light in the darkest moments and that He never leaves His children.
If you are walking through abuse, heartbreak, or fear, know that God sees you, loves you, and is able to lead you into freedom and healing. Keep trusting Him. He is faithful, and He is still writing beautiful stories of redemption.
Thank You, Jesus, for protecting me, restoring me, and giving me the courage to walk in freedom. All glory belongs to You.
