St. Tarcisius teaches us that being an altar server is more than wearing a cassock and serving at the altar. He served Jesus with faith, courage, love, and sacrifice. Even when he was young, he was willing to protect the Blessed Sacrament because he believed that Jesus was truly present.
As altar servers, we may face challenges, tiredness, distractions, or even moments when we feel like giving up. But the life of St. Tarcisius reminds us to remain faithful. Like him, we are called to serve Jesus with a sincere heart, to respect the Holy Eucharist, and to be brave in living out our faith.
St. Tarcisius reminds every altar server: We may be young, but God can use our simple β€œYES” to do something great. Let us serve not for recognition, but because we love Jesus. Dipolog Cathedral
