📖 Marcos 9:23-24
[23]“‘If you can’?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for one who believes.”
[24] Immediately the boy’s father exclaimed, “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!”
Faith is not pretending that we are strong all the time.
This father came to Jesus carrying both faith and fear at the same time. He wanted to believe, but deep inside he was struggling. And instead of hiding it, he became honest before God.
Sometimes we are like that too.
We pray, but we still worry.
We trust God, but doubts still enter our minds.
Yet Jesus did not reject the father because of his weak faith. Jesus responded to his honesty.
God is not asking for perfect faith — He is asking us to come to Him sincerely. Even a struggling faith placed in Jesus can experience miracles, healing, peace, and restoration.
When your heart feels uncertain, you can still pray:
“Lord, I believe… help me where I struggle.”
That prayer itself is faith.
