𝐒𝐔𝐍𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐕𝐈𝐂𝐄 𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐀𝐏
“𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐍 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐆𝐈𝐕𝐄 𝐔𝐏 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐆𝐎𝐃 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐔𝐄”
(𝟏 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝟏𝟗:𝟏-𝟓)
Bago po natin pag-aralan ang teksto na yan, bibigyan ko muna po kayo ng background. So si Jezebel ay kasama sa mga pinakamalulupit na babae sa aklat ng Bibliya. Isa ay number 1 na ruthless talaga na evil na babae bakit? Kasi lahat ng mga alagad ng Diyos, lahat ng mga Kristiyano ay nililipon nya, pinapatay nya. So ayon po ang character ni Jezebel.
So one time kung mababasa nyo po ang 1 kings, makikita nyo po sa 18 ay nagkaroon po ng paglalaban ang mga propeta ni Baal atsaka sila Elijah. So ang mga propeta ni Baal, sila ay naghahandog, sila ay nagdarasal pero ni minsan ay hindi sila tinugon. So habang sila ay nananalangin kay Baal hindi sila sinasagoy, nago-offer sila ng mga offerings, wala. So ang sabi ni Elijah ako naman, ako naman ang makikipag-usap sa aking Diyos, sya ang nag-offer ng offerings, sya ang nanalangin. 𝐏𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐆𝐀𝐍 𝐒𝐘𝐀 𝐍𝐆 𝐏𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐈𝐍𝐎𝐎𝐍 𝐀𝐓 𝐋𝐀𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐍𝐆 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐏𝐄𝐓𝐀 𝐍𝐈 𝐁𝐀𝐀𝐋 𝐍𝐀𝐒𝐀𝐖𝐈.
Ngayon itong si Elijah sabi nya, punta ka don kay Jezebel, punta ka don sa hari at sabihin mo kung ano ang ginawa ko sa mga propeta ni Baal. So ano ang sabi ni Jezebel?
𝟤 So Jezebel sent a messenger to Elijah to say, "May the gods deal with me, be it ever so severely, if by this time tomorrow I do not make your life like that of one of them."
- Kumbaga binantaan nya ang buhay ni Elijah. So anong ginawa dyan?
𝟥 Elijah was afraid and ran for his life. When he came to Beersheba in Judah, he left his servant there,
- Tumakbo si Elijah, tumakas si Elijah.
Sabi rito sa 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐬 𝟔:𝟏-𝟑
𝟣 When men began to increase in number on the earth and daughters were born to them, 𝟤 the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were beautiful, and they married any of them they chose. 𝟥 Then the Lord said,
"My Spirit will not contend with man forever, for he is mortal; his days will be a hundred and twenty years."
- So ang background po nyan ay nakita ng Diyos ang wickedness ng mga tao nung mga panahon na iyan. This is the Noah’s time.
So kung mapapansin po natin ano, yung insidente po dyan sa Genesis na yan is a classical example that 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐨 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥. 𝐀𝐍𝐆 𝐏𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐈𝐍𝐎𝐎𝐍, 𝐀𝐍𝐆 𝐃𝐈𝐘𝐎𝐒 𝐀𝐘 𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐈 𝐋𝐀𝐆𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐌𝐀𝐆𝐓𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐘𝐀𝐆𝐀, 𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐈 𝐒𝐘𝐀 𝐋𝐀𝐆𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐌𝐀𝐆𝐓𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐈𝐒 𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐀 𝐒𝐀𝐘𝐎, 𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐀 𝐆𝐀𝐖𝐈𝐍 𝐌𝐎 𝐊𝐔𝐍𝐆 𝐀𝐍𝐎 𝐀𝐍𝐆 𝐊𝐀𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐁𝐀𝐍 𝐍𝐘𝐀.
𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐟𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐆𝐨𝐝’𝐬 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞, 𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮. 𝐁𝐮𝐭 𝐢𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐛𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐡𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮. 𝐏𝐚𝐠𝐛𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐠𝐲𝐚𝐧 𝐤𝐚 𝐧𝐲𝐚 𝐬𝐚 𝐤𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐧 𝐧𝐠 𝐮𝐥𝐨 𝐦𝐨 𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐀𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐂𝐄 𝐆𝐎𝐃 𝐂𝐇𝐎𝐒𝐄𝐒 𝐒𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐓𝐎 𝐑𝐄𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐂𝐄 𝐘𝐎𝐔. 𝐏𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐧 𝐤𝐚 𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐨𝐧.
So alam nyo po tayo ay naniniwala sa doktrina ng permissiveness, ano yung permissiveness? Pag sinabi nating permissiveness, yung pahihintulot. Pinapahintulutan ng Panginoon na mangyari ito sa buhay mo, yung ganitong mga bagay. So meaning nagpagpapahintulot, 𝐆𝐎𝐃 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐏𝐄𝐂𝐓 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐖𝐈𝐋𝐋 𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐍 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐒𝐀𝐘 𝐍𝐎 𝐓𝐎 𝐇𝐈𝐒 𝐂𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐆. Nirerespeto rin ng Diyos nung sumagot ka sa Panginoong ng Lord, ayoko, Lord, ayoko na po, Lord, magpapahinga muna po ako kasi marami po akong problema.
Although alam nyo po, nirerespeto po ng Diyos yan nung sinabi natin na ayaw na natin. Nirespeto ng Diyos yan pero hindi po yan maganda para sa atin kasi it will lead to our kapahamakan. So God’s purpose in his church is accomplish through partnership within God. So alam nyo po partner tayo, Ang Panginoon tsaka tayo. Kaya nya naman gawin lahat pero bakit kailangan nya pa rin tayo maging partner? Kasi ayon po ay biyaya nya sa atin.
𝐇𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐬 𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧, 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐬 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥. 𝐁𝐮𝐭 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐆𝐨𝐝, 𝐌𝐀𝐆𝐇𝐀𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐀𝐏 𝐒𝐘𝐀 𝐍𝐆 𝐈𝐁𝐀𝐍𝐆 𝐊𝐀𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐍𝐄𝐑, 𝐏𝐀𝐏𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐀𝐍 𝐊𝐀 𝐍𝐘𝐀. Lahat ng blessing, lahat ng favor, lahat ng grace na para sayo mawawala na sayo kasi hindi kana kapartner ng Panginoon. Ibibigay na yon don sa bago nyang partner.
𝟏 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝟏𝟗:𝟓-𝟗
𝟧 ...All at once an angel touched him and said, "Get up and eat."
𝟨 He looked around, and there by his head was a cake of bread baked over hot coals, and a jar of water. He ate and drank and then lay down again.
𝟩 The angel of the Lord came back a second time and touched him and said, "Get up and eat, for the journey is too much for you." 𝟪 So he got up and ate and drank. Strengthened by that food, he traveled forty days and forty nights until he reached Horeb, the mountain of God. 𝟫 There he went into a cave and spent the night.
- So nais po nating unawain na sa kabila ng tagumpay na binigay ng Diyos kay Elijah ay napalitan ito ng takot. Pinagtagumpay sya ng Panginoon noong pinatay nya ang mga propeta ni Baal ngunit para kay Elijah ay hindi yon naging sapat yung pagtatagumpay na binigay ng Panginoon dahil sa isang Jezebel lamang, natakot na sya.
Bakit hindi nagiging sapat ang mga naunang pagtatagumpay natin? Kasi tayo ay nakafocus ating kasalukuyang discouragement, kasalukuyang problema. 𝐍𝐠𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭 𝐭𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐢𝐲𝐨𝐬 𝐬𝐚 𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐡𝐨𝐧 𝐧𝐠 𝐤𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐩 𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐚 𝐩𝐚 𝐫𝐢𝐧 𝐬𝐲𝐚 𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐢𝐲𝐨𝐬.
𝟏 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝟏𝟗:𝟗
And the word of the Lord came to him: "What are you doing here, Elijah?"
He replied, "I have been very zealous for the Lord God Almighty. The Israelites have rejected your covenant, broken down your altars, and put your prophets to death with the sword. I am the only one left, and now they are trying to kill me too."
- Ngunit sa kabila ng pag-eencouragement ng Diyos sakanya, ang tanging naisip ni Elijah ay ang takot na bunga ng pagtugis sakanya ni Jezebel.
Ito ay malinaw lamang ng pagtupad ng Dios sa kanyang pangako, kay Joshua (𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐡𝐮𝐚 𝟏:𝟓)
No one will be able to stand up against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you.
Ngunit sa kabila noon, nanatili pa ring takot at discourage si Elijah. Pinili pa rin niyang lumayo sa kalooban ng Dios sa kanya.
Kaya't inutusan sya ng Dios na umakyat sa bundok.
𝟏 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝟏𝟗:𝟏𝟏-𝟏𝟒
11 The Lord said, "Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the Lord, for the Lord is about to pass by. "Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake, 𝟣𝟤 After the earthquake came a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper. 𝟣𝟥 When Elijah heard it, he pulled his cloak over his face and went out and stood at the mouth of the cave.
Then a voice said to him,“What are you doing here, Elijah?"
Then a voice said to him, What are you doing here, Elijah?"
𝟣𝟦 He replied, "I have been very zealous tor the Lord God Almighty. The Israelites have rejected your covenant, broken down your altars, and put your prophets to death with the sword. I am the only one left, and now they are trying to kill me too."
- So dito po natin makikita ang kapangyarihan ng Diyos nang wasakin nya ang bundok sa pamamagitan ng malakas na hangin, kasunod non ang lindol, pero matigas pa rin ang ulo ni Elijah. Hindi pa rin natinag si Elijah.
𝟏 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝟏𝟗:𝟏𝟓-𝟏𝟖
𝟣𝟧 The Lord said to him, "Go back the way you came, and go to the Desert of Damascus. When you get there, anoint Hazael king over Aram. 𝟣𝟨 Also, anoint Jehu son of Nimshi king over Israel, and anoint Elisha son of Shaphat from Abel Meholah to succeed you as prophet. 𝟣𝟩 Jehu will put to death any who escape the sword of Hazael, and Elisha will put to death any who escape the sword of Jehu. 𝟣𝟪 Yet I reserve seven thousand in Israel — all whose knees have not bowed down to Baal and all whose mouths have not kissed him."
Nakita ng Dios ang pag-ayaw ni Elijah na magpatuloy sa gawaing ibinigay ng Dios sa kanya. Kaya ang ginawa ng Dios ay sumuko sa katigasan ng ulo ni Elijah. Sumuko sa pagsuway ni Elijah. Sumuko sa pag gamit kay Elijah.
𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐂𝐋𝐔𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍
Alam mo kapatid, kahit umayaw ka sa plano ng Diyos, kahit natatakot ka, kahit ano pang ginagawa mo sa buhay mo, kahit magback slide kapa, kahit umalis kapa sa kalooban ng Panginoon. Tandaan mo kapatid tuloy pa rin ang plano ng Diyos sa kanyang Iglesia, tuloy pa rin ang pagtatagumpay ng Diyos.
𝐓𝐮𝐥𝐨𝐲 𝐭𝐮𝐥𝐨𝐲 𝐩𝐚 𝐫𝐢𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐚𝐠𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐲 𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐨 𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐢𝐲𝐨𝐬 𝐬𝐚 𝐈𝐠𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐚 𝐤𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐚 𝐤𝐚 𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐨 𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐢.
"ang aking Espirito ay hindi laging makikipag pilitan sa tao."
Sabi nga ni Hesus, kung hindi Ninyo ako pupurihin, maging ang mga batong ito ay tatayo upang ako ay luwalhatiin. (𝐋𝐮𝐤𝐚𝐬 𝟏𝟗:𝟒𝟎)
𝐀𝐍𝐆 𝐏𝐀𝐆𝐓𝐀𝐓𝐀𝐆𝐔𝐌𝐏𝐀𝐘 𝐍𝐆 𝐃𝐈𝐘𝐎𝐒 𝐀𝐘 𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐘𝐀𝐘𝐀𝐑𝐈 𝐊𝐀𝐒𝐀𝐌𝐀 𝐊𝐀 𝐌𝐀𝐍 𝐎 𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐈. Tinawag tayo ng Diyos ayon sakanyang layunin, so gawin nga natin ito na ganap na layunin sa buhay natin.
𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐧𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧 𝐩𝐨 𝐭𝐚𝐲𝐨.
